It's early yet. We're a top team without the lockout, because we won't lose more than 1 or 2 guys. With the lockout - more in the middle. Post-lockout most teams will lose 4-5.
Opening night tonight in Worcester.
Seriously, how are the Woo supposed to compete with teams who have the likes of Larsson, Henrique, Josefson, Smith-Pelly, Palmieri, Holland, Etem, Vatanen, etc.

i sucks as far as getting wins and good stats but its probably good for our young players getting experience against a few nhlers a game and not being overwhelmed by a whole team of em
just finished watching baby sharks, they look awful....go sharks
If that was the first game you've seen, don't be fooled into thinking that's what they look like every game, because they've looked a million times better the other times I've watched.
I can honestly say that I had a better time with my wife a few weeks ago at the Barry Manilow concert at the DCU. I got the tickets free and went as a goof, but Barry was born a performer.
Just absolutely no flow to offense even during power plays. Nothing exciting. Albany got a short handed goal that was was a give and go and give and go that shredded the D and I do not think either Devil ever had a body put on them.
Sommer could not be a nicer guy, but this was an awful performance from a team that did not look ready to play. Albany may have a better roster, but the game was not remotely close.
Just give up on Petrecki, I don't care where he was drafted. Got knocked down right in front of me on what looked like a standard hockey play and grabbed the other player who was not interested in any altercation. It looked like he held onto him and slammed him into the glass/dasher. Double minor plus a game misconduct. What a good decision.
Even the fight sucked. Pelech and Leach was a draw with maybe one punch landed by each. Should have stayed home to watch college football.

Lots of SJ front office people around...there's no way they aren't seeing the same things we are. Like you say, Sommer is a great guy. But he's got to go.
Worcester dressed 7 defensemen and didn't dress forwards James Livingston, Curt Gogol, Marek Viedensky, and Daniil Tarasov...you have to figure Gogol and Tarasov, who have both yet to play this season, may be SF bound shortly.
