Don't think that one is much of an unpopular opinion anymore.

John Mitchell helped the team a lot more than he hurt them.
agree on Gravy and Mitch, but your way off with Cally, the heart and soul of this team....

Heart and soul, along with 'hustle', 'grit' and 'warrior' are just a few terms that are used to describe Callahan. People make him out like he's the most important player on the team when in reality is that he's an average 2nd line player.

So does Brian Boyle according to that description.

Arron Asham too, Dan Girardi, Stu Bickel.

-Never thought Dubinsky was that great

-Bickel is a pylon that shouldn't even see NHL ice ever again

-While I love Lundqvist, he's not infalliable and I blame him when he lets in a bad goal

-The Nash trade is going to hurt this team 2-3 years from now

I liked Gilroy and still do. I hope he makes the team as the 6/7 Dman because he is better than Bickel.

This is what irks me most about Callahan. When you criticize him, his fanboys accuse you of not being a 'true Rangers fan'. I'm not a Callahan fan, I'm a Rangers fan.

Couldn't stand watching Artie, soft as a Carvel cone, getting flattened every night...

Listen I'm usually the last to disrespect someones opinion, if that's how you feel more power to you, by the way I was in the minority with Mitchell too, he won faceoffs, played responsible defense, threw the body, and was on the 4th line, people were expecting alot more...why?

I thought Matt Cullen was a good Ranger and was sad to see him traded.
