Even Gould is no good. Nothing is going right today.

Seriously one of the worst coaching decisions to go for a field goal there.

You really have no idea what you're talking about. That's a FG coaching decision 99.99% of the time. Gould is typically reliable.

I seriously think you need study up on simple mathematics and then come back and admit your foolishness.

Your still down 2 scores and have an offense that hand't been to that part of field since early 1st qtr

Most coaches go for it ,, No point in taking a FG

The point is that even he had made it it's still a two possession game.

If Gould makes that bears are down by nine. TD and a FG wins it. Bears offense was getting stuffed down there. Very low chance they convert. It wasn't 4th and 1.

Two possession but not two TD's. Risk getting nothing with over 10 minutes left in the game?!?!? It would be different with around 5 minutes. It was the right call.

Even lower chance they score 10 pts and hold the Panthers to none

And if Gould makes the kick it's a two point game. THAT's why you kick the field goal, christ.

You were saying? Right now the Bears should be down by a FG if Gould makes that.

It's really not that complicated. Now Bears still need a TD.

No. The Bears just stopped the Panthers on 3 downs.

So if the Gould kick was good and the Bears do the exact same thing...they can win the game/take the lead with a FIELD GOAL instead of having to get a TD if they failed on 4th down.

If Gould makes FG the Carolina punter never shanks it for 6 yds giving Bears ball back at Car 38 in which they drove to endzone
