Seguin is a "great one?" I find that the "great ones" usually average slightly more than a half a point per game in the playoffs. (then again, maybe you're hedging your bets with the use of "future star" in the next sentence or maybe the use of Seguin and "great one" is just sarcasm)
Seguin and Hamilton will be Team Canada stalwarts for years to come, Kessel will be retired when these guy's will be yearly Allstars for the next 12 years or more.
In 20, 30, and 40 years this trade will be considered one of the most one sided deal in the history of the NHL.

LOL You realize Kessel is only 25? Lol. He's only a few years older then both those players.

3 Great ones (you forgot knight) for a fringe AHLer.

He'll be done by the time he's 32, he doesn't have the love of the game that is needed. One more big contract and he'll pack it in.
Kessel hasnt missed a practice, hasnt been late, hasnt been punished by the team for not cooperating with team rules. Guess who has?! Kessel dedicates his life to hockey, he loves the game more than the majority of the league and much more than Seguin. I love how its "he doesnt hit so obviously he doesnt love hockey", instead of the guy returned in a few weeks after having a testicle removed as a result of testicular cancer.

Wow. Only people who will be taking about it will be shmucks who can't see why burke made the trade and just getting angry at the move. When it happened everyone was praising burke but now that we scene what we gave up.
Idk if people remember draft picks aren't everything...... In kessels draft year he was thought to be the next crosby
Random curiosity, but anyone know what happened to Juraj Mikus? Do we not have him in the roster anymore?
He signed a contract in Europe. Was a good d-man for the Marlies, but was never really going to be more than that. I'm sure he figured that out himself and realized he was better off making good money in Europe instead of lesser pay in the AHL.
It's like shooting a zombie with a BB gun, there's no use.
Lol freebird just doesn't have anyything better to do than try n troll the leafs board. To bad we can all scout players too and the intelligent fan knows why the deal was made (when it happened) and we now realize that maybe boston got the better end of the deal but we got a ppg player. When u get fleeced like ana or cal in the gards/phaneuf trade that's when u say wow that deal sucked. When kessel goes a ppg idk if u can say that the deal was awful for toronto. Just haters gonna hate, and its really pathetic to what means haters go to these days
