Wild @ Jets - October 4th

After the superb turnout for the Oilers game the other week, it was nice to see another full house for tonights matchup with the Wild. It was too bad that Parise and Suter weren't dressed, but Scheifele sure had some good battles on the dot with Koivu.

I was arrested for drunken and disorderly conduct at the game for trying to fight a urinal.

The urinal won.

Who'd have thought we'd win 19-0, It turns out that the Wild were actually playing against the Wheat Kings last night, the Weaties won 9-0

Clutterbuck going into the stands and after that fan who poured beer on him in the penalty box, only to be tuned by Dancing Gabe, was definitely the highlight for me.

A source told me (hockey_insider_) that Wheeler plans to have a 40 game drought but finish the year with 2pts/gp

4pts a game for 40 games? That'll be exciting!

It was too bad the Garry Bettman and Donald Fehr who were at the game sitting up in the press box together fell to their deaths during a first intermission scuffle

Enstrom was invisible too. The only thing that stood out for him was that terribly long hockey stick. Certainly no Lidstrom Lite out there.

They had their chance to trade him in the off season for a top six forward.

I came to Winnipeg just to watch the game. Crazy ****! From all my years of watching Wellwood play in Vancouver I've never seen him be so hungry for the puck. He was chasing it like crazy in the first few minutes and looked like he'd score a billion goals that way.

Which is a shame because during the first intermission the puck mysteriously disappeared and by the time they got a replacement Wellwood had left the game with an abdominal injury.

Hainsey scored 6 again? **** it. He's got 12 goals in 2 games. That puts him on a pace for 492 goals this season.
