Isn't Sbisa Italian?

EDIT: Nevermind, he's already in Switzerland.

Anyway, my hometown team in Norway has signed Jack Skille and Deryk Engelland

Could even be someone like Sexton who said he was going to have to look for work because the Ducks didn't want him on an AHL deal.

Yes indeed. That's more likely than Bonino I think. I completely forgot about Sexton (likely because he didn't get an AHL deal).

As per EP it is Bonino after all.

What type of numbers should Bonino be able to put up in that league, I would imagine the quality of hockey is much lower than that of the AHL?

It's pretty low level. No disrespect to our Italian friends, but I believe it's lower than ECHL/CHL, and not by a small margin. I have no idea what would he do there. Family visit/holiday?

The Italian 2nd league? Sure it's gonna be a much lower level than the ECHL. I haven't seen the league in action, but it wasn't like our prospects were tearing it up in the ECHL when we didn't have a team in the AHL.

The Italian 1st league would have a much better fit. The league isn't great, but perhaps a bit underrated anyways. A few NHL'ers went their during the last lockut. JP Levasseur is there right now as well.

Bonino had 4 points (2G-2A) in his debut for Neumarkt/Egna (they won 5-3).

Another point (an assist for GWG in OT) for Bonino in game that was played today.

In case you guys didn't notice, it's HC Neumarkt/Egna Wild Goose. That must be why he signed there?

EDIT: Presser:

Zug's owner or sponsor must be crazy rich by just looking their lockout additions and rumors.

My heart would break if I had to see Hiller playing for Zug.

But the rumour makes sense, they can't borrow their goaltenders for the whole season

Bonino with another 2 points the other day.

Beleskey with only 1 point so far in 3 games. I have no idea how he looked out there, there are Coventry Blaze boards out there but I wasn't willing to register...

Does anyone have a report on Sbisa? As in saw him play, not his stats.

Don't really know how Bonino fits in Serie A2 here in Italy. A mediocre player in the ECHL is able to make the difference in the Serie A, the A2 is a tier below that.

He will tear the scoresheets a part... if he wants to.

I'd really like Fowler to sign with some team in Europe soon. He needs to play.

I think Bonino is just doing it mainly for a paid vacation. He stays in shape but gets to enjoy Italy while tearing up the score sheet.

Three points (1G-2A) so far (mid 2nd period) for Bonino. Paid vacation for him...

Bonino has 11 points in 4 games. I think he's enjoying himself in Italy. He's only SECOND in points though haha he's played 7 less games.

I'd like him to play in Finland with Jokerit if this drags on too long. Teemu will be headed there and Cam will get a chance to play with Erik Karlsson. Can't hurt. Might pick up a few things.

He's been kind of dry out there though, only 8 points in 12 games
