This games marks history! To my knowledge, this is the first KHL game that has ever been broadcast on live television (ESPN2) in North America.

Not a big ice dman, but still a big dman... But you're right, he lacks some speed. He'll compensate with good positioning

That's fine, Ovechkin has been trying to drag defense man away from his team mates every game since hes been playing in the KHL.

Yeah, espn fckd up. There are two commercial breaks in each 1st and 2nd periods in KHL, just not during powerplay.

I hope KHL marketing knows that ESPN is bashing the KHL left right and center.

The commentators are having a good laugh, but I don't see how this is a good promotion for the league.

Watching the ESPN stream online here in Europe. They're joking about the 2 Juraj Mikus's in Lev's line-up being brothers with identical names, not realizing that their last names are in fact slightly different: Mikuš (defenceman) vs. Mikúš (forward). The forward Mikúš does have a brother in the KHL, but he plays for Slovan (Tomáš Mikúš).

These commentators are goons that know little about the league. Wtf was KHL thinking.

This is Barry Melrose who was fired in Tampa after about 1 week Stamkos' rookie year, and played in the NHL in the 1970's...you think he knows anything about modern hockey, let alone European hockey. KHL should demand he is removed.

This is embarassing. I know it's Barry freakin Melrose, but I expected better. They're not being professional at all.
