Seriously, I go to read for 2 hours, and this happens??????
Well, I have off from school tomorrow, since I have aids or something (note, I do not actually have aids, I'm just really sick)
Time to take over... After I get some much needed sleep

For some reason I never got into Ritchies movies. Saw Lock, Snatch (that's him too right?). Thought they were pretty good, and I understand why some people love them like they do (unlike say Stan Kubrick. Yeah I went there), but I never got into them.
Is there anyone here you has either:
Read Fight Club repeatedly.
Or likes Palahniuk?
His other efforts are meh to amazing, with most ranking around average. I'm not a fanboy by any length so I'll start with the books I liked the least:
Snuff was awful. Just trash.
Haunted. This is a tough one for me. The individual stories were amazing. However the actual story was just kind of o.k. shout out to anyone who has read "Guts".
lol I let that film slip my mind on purpose. I just think of that one as Madonna's movie, and Guy was just kind of there giving her a hand, but I'm pretty sure she made that movie herself. That's what I'm going to stick to.

More later perhaps.
I love Snatch, probably one of my favorite movies in terms of being able to watch it any time and multiple times a day and not get anywhere near sick of it.
Palahniuk is my favorite author. Fight club is one of the favorite books as well as probably my favorite movie, although he has some other great ones that might actually be better. Choke is amazing (I seem to be alone on that for some reason) and Invisible Monsters was really really.
Also, In case no one noticed, I love Brad Pitt on levels which make my fiance uncomfortable.
Yeah the misses loooves Jay Stay. I think he's pretty amazing and the whole story about Guy discovering him is pretty cool. He actually is a badass in real life. Also, seeing him in the film "London" was very interesting to me. haha Talk about funny.

Is it really? I thought that guy was so socially awkward that he never left his house.
Oh he is. haha He's a musical genius as well as funny as ****. He's made appearances in a a few movies but Crank 2 was his best. He also owns a wine company which is kind of something I never thought he would do.
Can't say I know too much about Tool. I really like the song Sober though.
Anything from that album is amazing. Sober specifically though, i agree, is just tops.

I agree. I don't think anything he did was as good as Snatch, but all of his films have the watchability factor for sure. I thought Revolver was really good, but it was kind of hard to follow and a lot of people didn't like it for that reason and i can't blame them. Also thought he was perfect to direct the Sherlock movies.

My wife swoons over Statham. It is easy to understand why. He is a leading man in Hollywood and he isn't a *****

Agreed. 100% so bad it was good.

Tool is an excellent band. Undertow was good, but their follow up, Ænima, was even better.

Anyone see The Transporter? The first one is great.
Ah Misuer Frank, nothing is ever out of place.
Love that movie. Seen it more times then I care to admit.

My goal for years has been to look like he did in Fight Club, with his shirt off.
I am happy to say in about six months I should be there.
EDIT: I forgot to talk about Chuck P. more.
Let's talk about Pygmy.
Pygmy I liked. I dug the broken English thing, but the fact that it basically has the same plot as another one of his books makes it lose points in my book. A solid effort, but not his best.
Choke was a fun read. Have not seen the movie. Didn't see the twist either. However it doesn't come close to my favorites by him.
Rant. I don't even know where to begin with this one. A complicated read if there ever was one. The writing is solid though and good luck finding plot holes even though it deals with a topic where several usually show up. I've read it two or three times along with a whole load off supplemental stuff I found on the net. If you can wrap your mind around Rant without help I applaud you.
That leaves Invisible Monsters (Ordered Remix this morning), Fight Club, and Lullaby.
