Here's an interesting take from Duchene on Frolunda, Collberg's SEL team:

Interesting. Duchene's a competitor, no doubt about it, and I'd take him for his word.

No points for Collberg today in a 2-3 loss at Leksand. I think it's time for him to head back to Frölunda now.

Could be because Frolunda has lost 3 straight, scoring 2 goals in those 3 games. They had also only scored 3 goals in the 2 games before this losing streak.

Collberg will make Frolunda's 4th line more dangerous for sure.

5 goals in 13 games now.
Very nice ratio.
Only 1 assist, but whatever, he's a pure scorer.

Ducene's contract ends December 8, if he isn't resigned I think Frölunda will bring Collberg back.

Two things Collberg hopefully picked up from his time in Örebro;
1. How to score at senior level.
2. How to grow an awesome playoff beard.
Here's the highlight from the game with Collberg's patented PS-move;

His backhand is lethal, 2 of his WJC shootout goals were on it too.

Aberg is now off Sweden's WJC team. Collberg has just become even more important.

Apparently Pontus Aberg will be left off the Swedish WJC roster.
Considering there was some debate on who is better between Collberg and Aberg, that's a good sign.
Geez, how did Et le But beat me to this one. Damn it.

Beat you by a minute.
But yeah, for anyone concerned with Collberg, look at it this way. Neither is lighting up the Allsvenskan but for two snipers, Collberg has 1 less goal in
half as many games . I wouldn't read too much into assist totals especially since Collberg is the more well rounded of the two.
And of course Collberg has been much better on the national team.
So as much as this news isn't about Collberg, it does consolidate that he will have an important role in the WJC.

Is Sweden that stacked to leave Aberg off?
Well I don't feel too bad about Nystrom being left off now.

This team actually on paper isn't as good as the last one...I think the issue is they want balance; for instance it looks like Sorensen is going to make it.
Nystrom probably has the same problem Aberg has, too similar to other prospects.

This says he scored. Either way, 7 points in 14 games now. He's maintaining the production level I was expecting.
