It's ridiculous, they played best of three quarterfinals and then the semi and final are one decisive game. Been so for four years I think, before that it was best of three all the way to the gold.

That's great news. It would be nice to see a few of our prospects in Hamilton to finish the season.

Indeed. Maybe our development team can help him out a bit.

Has he worked on his backhand pass? His was pretty weak at the WJC.

Are we sure he can do this? I know Canucks 1st rounder Jensen played in the SEL and then came over to play in the AHL (now called up in the NHL), but he's already signed to an ELC, which Collberg isn't.

It would be awesome though.

Can't see why we can't sign him to a PTO like the rest of the junior aged players.

April fools?

Would be great if true, could be good practice for him to see what he needs to improve on for the NHL game.

This is difficult to comprehend. I've never seen such a proactive Habs GM, in terms of focusing on prospects.

Pfffffft ruining the tank.

Seriously though it's great to see all the prospects getting some games in in Hamilton.

YUS!!!!!

When Collberg matures and Galchenyuk starts to get hot, we'll be as hot as the peinguins perhaps even more!

Great news. We have no idea how that season played in on Collberg's play, but nobody will be surprised if he actually looks much better now that he did there.

Oh wow.

Hudon was already surprising - first time in memory I see a junior player expected to go back in the CHL still have a small stint with the Bulldogs. But now they managed to convince a european player - a guy who is used to a better league than the AHL - to come in NA for a few games? That's... impressive.

I love how we are paying personal attention to the best prospect and ensuring they learn to be a part of the Canadiens identity. This isn't just positive for development but also ensuring that we remain a team and not a collection of hired guns.

With Hamilton's season a lost cause they should be playing the kids as much as possible. Turn it into a training camp with real opposition. Imagine if we get to see Hudon, Vail and Collberg play together!
