I think he should grow a mullet.

Just imagine the crisis the OP would face.

Why would a multi-millionaire like him not get treatment to stop his hair loss and/or restore what he's already lost?

either shave it all off, or go get some hair treatment. Dude makes millions of dollars, so you'd think he would get the hair treatment

I don't get the fixation people have about hair or the lack of it. Get treatment for it, really?

His hair is what makes him Getzlaf. Strahan wouldn't be Strahan without the huge gap in his teeth. Same as Letterman.

Why would he care? He's balding rapidly yet he'd steal all of your girlfriends/sisters/mothers.

It isnt so young to go bald. Early-mid 20's is a very common age, i know guys who went bald almost fully by 17/18. Now thats brutal. Its likely to do with genetics, suffocating his hair with sweat under a helmet 7 times a week likely didnt make the situation any better.

If it were me I'd shave it. But he's a millionaire professional hockey player so he probably doesn't care.

When there's no hair on top I believe the correct term is "skullet".

Getzy already has a wife...who does he have to impress with his hair style? Leave the man alone.

And his hairstyle oozes self confidence, the man don't give a damn about it.

Here we see Ryan after being drafted, what a good looking young man with seemingly excellent hair

Here he is a few short years later, and as you can see in his early 20's, Getzlaf is starting to develop male pattern baldness, no biggie not bad enough to shave it all off

Here is Ryan 3 years ago at the olympics, and it is becoming increasingly clear Getzy has a problem and he can no longer deny it to himself

Here is Ryan at his google hangout.

this past week his hair has taken a further turn for the worse. Ryan shave it off!! you are a wildly successful man, there is no reason for you to be fighting this, just Messier the damn thing already!

At least he's a famous millionaire worshiped by millions. I'm barely 22 years old and I'm losing a lot of hair . At least I shave it

Never knew Getzlaf had a concussion from that puck to the head (assume it was the one that broke his nose and/or face).

Was that ever announced by the team?

Pure speculation on my part, but I don't think many athletes do any kind of treatment because of PED testing concerns. Take for example Theodore, where his Propecia caused him to fail a drug test because Propecia is a common drug used to mask other drugs.

I'm 22 and have a full head of hair. I forget which grandfather it is that men supposedly follow for hair loss, but both mine indicate I'll be fine.

I'll be gray by my mid 30s though. I've already found a few.

probably genetics...although i swam with a future Olympian and his hair turned white (not grey or silver) straight white at age 16 due to the stress of working out and honors classes. so i can't discount stress altogether.

and its your mother's father you gotta look at.

So... we got our midterms back in class last week and today the teacher looks like he has a hickey on his neck.

Is there a correlation? Need some help with advanced stats to figure that out.

Grades can be changed, however. Probably have to go looking for hickies below the neckline for evidence of that though.
