2012-13 Jets Season Ticket holders thread

Starting this thread to focus discussion on next years' season tickets.
I know the information was posted last week on the official renewal notices.

New info:

Spoke with my TNSE ticket representative concerning the potential NHL lockout. Regardless of an NHL work stoppage, TNSE will collect payments as described in the TPA. That means if you go monthly payment option, they will continue collecting every month regardless if there is no hockey. It appears that any excess money would then be held in your account to be applied to future years.

I believe this is an unfair policy, but nothing STH can do about it as we signed the TPA.

That and they want the money for 2012-2013 15 minutes after the current season ends.

The TPA that was signed last summer actually says that the Jets would require 20% of the 2012-13 season tickets on March 15, 2012. This is for those that selected option A 20%, 40%, 40%.

It is nice that the Jets extended the deadline for those selecting option A.

I couldn't be happier with my seats and could care less if the Jets collect money and there is a lockout. When hockey starts again my seats will already be paid for.

I personally do not expect any form of lockout.

I do see why some people would not be happy about it but I could care less. Just my opinion.

That's just going to kill me if there's a lock-out. The summers too long as it is! I only missed 6 games this year and I plan on attending all of them next year! I want to go for a perfect season!

You pay the same amount of money for the same amount of games. Personally my tickets are paid up front, so not a huge difference to me.

You gotta pay it sooner or later. In the end, if there is a work stoppage of any type we won't be paying anymore than the number of games played. We would just be paying less the next year because of the credit balances we would all have.

Think of it as an investment in the future. Jets need the capital to invest in quality talent to make the team better. I'm willing to invest in the Jets to make them a better team.

No kidding. I think they're going to make some moves this summer without a doubt.

Wah Wah Wah, I signed a contract without understanding what it meant. Now they won't do things my way I'm gonna cry.

It's the socialist republic of Manitoba way baby! You do have the option of walking away, losing your deposit and letting someone on the waiting list take over your seats. That is if you weren't just trolling.

The one thing I found strange it that when I opted-in for the playoff package, there was no credit for my seat exchange credit that I had. Not a big problem, I thought I would use the credit for the 2012-13 season tickets. So I renewed my tickets for next year and once again, the credit was nowhere to be seen.

As a result I sent an email on "My Jets Account" and that was a week ago, I haven't received a reply so I'll give it a few more days and then I think I'll have to either send another email or make a phone call.

Other than that issue, I've had an awesome year! It's a lot more fun having a team and making playoff hockey a lot more interesting. Last year I was only interested in the playoffs on the last day or two of the season.

No doubt on the investment, and so would I. All because I stated it was 'unfair' doesn't mean I won't still be thrilled to pay for ST! - as you write, has to be paid sooner-or-later anyway. Was just FYI.
Issue is irrelevant if they can avoid a work stoppage (and I hope for the sake of the game there is no lockout).

For the state of the game's survival (in the weaker markets - ie the south) we can't afford a work stoppage of any sort.

As a selfish season ticket holder... I want to see hockey next fall!! But I understand the issues with labour negotiations and all that it involves.

I do wonder what the face value of tickets will be next year. I would think an increase greater than 3% will be applied.

If the season is canceled they won't raise ticket prices for next season. It's in the FAQ on the jets Site.

I'm making reference to the face value of the tickets... STH pays x but the tickets (with their A B C tiers) are priced y. I was referring to the y prices in this instance.

Maybe if they would start the season, I'll find out. lol Overall though, I think the price of the tiers will increase slightly more than 3%.
