If I were a Jets player right now, I'd be LOOKING to be sent out here to the rock. 2s and 3s all week, with our one big storm behind us.

Except elsewhere it would be gone in a couple days... it's cold here, incase you didn't know.

It's cold all over the Prairies right now. Was down to -25C the other night here in Lethbridge, and had been snowing here for two days. Same thing in Saskatchewan and then in Manitoba. Oh, and prior to that, Winnipeg was in the 0C to 3C range for about four days. Some parts of SE Manitoba were up to 8C during that time. Winter weather goes up and down all over, including Winnipeg; it isn't constantly cold like you would have people believe.

Blake Wheeler's breakaway goal on Ryan Miller still gives me the chills.

My other favourite that sticks in my mind was Little's goal against Boston.

I had to go re watch those highlights on YouTube after I saw the ready for takeoff video. That Buffalo game was one of the best ones they played last year.

Well, it's official. NHLPA vote 98% in favor of the new CBA agreement.

Go Jets Go!

I wonder if Erik Cole was one of the ones who voted no.

It's official. I have no idea how hockey works. I felt like I played a terrible game tonight.

Ended up with 4 assists and a breakaway in a 7-4 win. Apparently I'm Dustin Byfuglien.

Meh, that's how I play defense in beer league...I am referred to as a "rover" on my team rather than defense...lol, I played forward my whole life, only play D in that since nobody on my team wants to..

(and I guess since they can pair me with the worst player on our team since for that level I'm a good skater...)

New kitten time. My roommate picked it up. He's not sure of the gender, so he's calling it Kit for now. It's quite an adventurous fellow and seems to like people (i.e. my roommate and I).

This just reminded me of a quote from my all time favourite movie:

"I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't wanna know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful it can't be expressed in words, and it makes your heart ache because of it."

I recognise the quote, but I can't remember what movie that's from.
