Pumped to hear Mckegg is standing out. He was very frustrating to watch with the Knights last year, but I still remember him looking great in the rookie camp with the Leafs. He's not the best skater, but he seems to have a knack of being in the right place at the right time.
Also it's good to hear that Aucoin and Kadri have chemistry. Could mean a big year offensively for Naz.
I think most of the traffic will come during games so a GDT thread (similar to what we have with the Jays) and a Prospects/Marlies discussion thread sounds about right.
Would love to see the two of them tear it up like former prospect-AHL vet duo Wellwood and Ling did during the last lockout.
Eakins also mentioned he was trying Greg Scott on that line. I'm guessing it's so Greg can worry more about the defensive side so Aucoin and Kadri can take care of the offence.
Ashton and Colborne was also something he was trying which could be fun to watch if they get going. Could be a tough pair to handle down low and on the boards.
I started the GDT for playoffs last year
Since we have gotten permission to start GDT, Can I start it
Should I start it for pre sesaon or just regular season
Sparks isn't getting tested much; Guelph is really taking it to the Spitfires (6 PP's help lol). Finn looks strong out there, playing a ton of minutes. Made a really nice stand-up hit on Marchese in the first period when the Spitfire forward tried to dangle.

Is Sparks playing? The game log says its DaSilva in net.
I'm loving the Ryan Rupert pick, he seems like an absolute ***** to play against. Check out this video, he delivers a borderline dirty hit, and then beats the crap out of the guy that challenges him. Beauty.

I really don't like the idea of keeping prospects and Marlies together.
It's much easier to find info about Marlies games and stuff than it is about our other prospects. Also, we can talk about the game in the thread just like regularly. Honestly, not that many people will visit the Marlie GDTs anyway.
Also, there's much more discussion about the Marlies and Eakins and stuff than our prospects. With the prospects we just talk about they're stats, and the odd game report. With the Marlies, there's much more in-depth discussions like where certain people will be slotted in the lineup, and of course the teams lineup and where they're placed in the standings and whatnot.

That's what we said about the BlueJays GDT. When there's nothing else on, there will be a huge influx of people. Whether that's creating an actual discussion, or the more likely "Nice shot Frattin!", etc. It fills up pretty quick. Way too difficult to talk about the game and have a discussion about something else in the same thread.
