Chicago - Tampa Bay - New York

To the lightening⚡

-P.Sharp
-D.McGilrath
-S.Montador

To the Blackhawks

-Connelly
-V.Hedman
-B.Boyle

To the Rangers

V.Stalberg
Tampa 2nd and 4th
B.Bickell

Sharp moves NMC and plays with Stamkos in his prime while they wait for a nasty 4-6 D in McGilrath(spell?) Also they add Montador' and his grit and stellar +-

Chicago risks loosing their best LW but gets a solid prospect in Conelly and a potential number 2-3 in Hedman...They add the big but not always physical Boyle to help win battles weak rookies cannot.

The Rangers while in a win now mode trade some assets and aquire Stalberg and two picks next year. Stalberg/Kreider/Gaborik is just a rediculous amount of speed to handle. They can search for a gritty 4th line C on the market to replace Boyle- as important as he is a first is more valuable. Bickell adds some size and experience in a 4th line role at a small cap hit

Outlook:

Sharp - Stamkos - MSL

Keith/Seabrook/Hedman/Hammer

Stalberg/Richards/Gaborik/Stepan/Callahan/Nash/Kreider

Tampa gives up a 2nd, Connolly, and Hedman for what essentially amounts to Sharp? That's horrible. I doubt Tampa moves Hedman at all. He is pegged as their franchise D.

Lightning trade Connolly, Hedman, and second and fourth for Sharp, McIlrath, Montador.
Rangers trade Boyle and McIlrath for Stalberg, a second, fourth, and Bickell.
Blackhawks trade Sharp, Stalberg, and Bickell for Hedman, Connolly, and Boyle.

It's blatantly obvious this deal comes from a Hawks fan, and was built around their needs, while completely ignoring the other teams needs.

Hawks get younger, better, and get all the best players in this failure of a proposal outside of Sharp.

Why yes!!! Where do I sign?

Has a 3 way trade even occurred in the NHL? Don't see why people always make these grand proposals.

98% of trades on this board ignore the other team's needs in a standard two-team deal.

Tampa Bay gets robbed blind, Chicago makes out like bandits and DontToewzMeBro makes yet another skull-numbingly terrible proposal.

not enough for NY; McIlrath is a risk, but he was like a 10 overall first; need higher return.

see how TBL wants more for Hedman, also

That's like L.A giving up Doughty for Lupul.

Simply brutal for Tampa.

Bern perhaps you can rework this into a 6 team 23 man trade that will seem more feasible?

Is this serious? No really, is this serious? I read this over like 10 times cause I am drunk, just to make sure I wasn't that drunk. It says a lot when a trade is so lop sided for one team (CHI) and horrible for another (NY) and just to add some more steamy badness for another (TB) it could sober me up. Thanks for ruining my drunkness...

One example of a three team trade:

Edmonton gets:
Patrick O'Sullivan
LA 2nd

Carolina gets:
Erik Cole

LA gets:
Justin Williams

They are very rare but they do happen.

Except Doughty is better than Hedman and Sharp is better than Lupul..

Either way, DTMB, please just stop making proposals.

Wolfie, you interesting cat! How you been?
My present schedule minimizes my time for even regular deals, forget epic scale deals.

Let's PM and have some holiday cheer over the holidays when schedules are mutually good.

The value isn't bad for the Rangers but not so great that they make this deal. Boyle is a very important guy in the lockerroom and is very good 3rd line center. They have invested a lot of patience in McIlraith and don't see him being dealt.
