http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2013/sto...ording-sources

Star Lotulelei, one of the elite prospects for the 2013 NFL draft, will not be allowed to work out Monday at the scouting combine because an echocardiogram revealed that the former Utah defensive tackle has a heart condition that requires more testing, according to league sources.

Lotulelei was discovered with an abnormally low Ejection Fraction, detecting that the left ventricle of his heart was pumping at only 44 percent efficiency, sources said. The normal range is between 55-70 percent efficiency.

Tavon is quite physical for a guy his size. He has been hit, gets right back up, and does not mind the dirty **** at all.

Looks like Damontre Moore had less lifts than most WR's.

DE Demontre Moore only 12 reps on bench. Not a big surprise based off his game tape
That's pathetic for a DE.

Really sucks about Jones...hate to see a guy drop because of something he can't control, especially given how hard he's worked to overcome it. Hopefully he'll do well wherever he lands.

Tyran Mathieu only did 4 reps on the bench. That's terrible.

Manti Te'o ran a 4.81 40. Now the 40 is pretty overrated, but for a 240 lb LBer, that's not good at all.

From one of my friends on Facebook (I'd feel bad trying to take credit):

"Manti T'eo had a slow 40-yard dash time, but you can clearly tell from the video that he was dragging Lennay the entire way."

Cornelius Washington was a beast today. 4.55 and 36 reps. He was a 3-4 defensive end last year.

Te'o better blow GMs and scouts away at his pro day. He has never been a really athletic guy and the 40 time doesn't mean everything but 300 lb defensive linemen are running faster than him.

Certainly not a good run and I'm sure he hoped for better, but I never really pictured Te'o as someone who would necessarily test well. On the spectrum of football player and athlete all the games I saw put him pretty firmly on football player side. They're obviously not mutually exclusive and that's where you see the Aldon Smith's and Dion Jordan types of the world but I think he has enough solid tape to overcome a bad combine.

I wouldn't draft T'eo in the first three rounds. His explanation for his bad time: "It was a long day". If you take a linebacker in the first you want an animal, not some guy who can't perform at a high level in a stressful situation.

Another thing that hurts Te'o, besides his shortcomings on the field, is the Tebow factor. Some teams aren't gonna want the media circus that comes with him.

I might take a late round (5th and on) flyer on the guy, but there's just so many red flags around him. He's still a very intriguing prospect and even if he can't hack it as a corner in the NFL he should still be worth trying out as a return specialist.

Unofficial times and all that, but the DB class seems to have some very good speed this year as well.

Rich Eisen ran 6.03 40, matching his mark from last year. I'm actually really curious what Deion(Leon) would run these days.

Obviously, the combine determines whether or not you are a good linebacker.

See Burfict, Vontaze

(Who I, admittedly, did not like before the combine)

I think Mayock gave Mathieu a 3rd round grade and I could see him going there if he doesn't do anything stupid between now and draft day. Poor performance on the bench press but he was great today in the drills that actually matter for a defensive back. On NFLN they said the one word scouts and other personnel on the field kept using was, "wow". Size and the off the field problems are a concern but he can play and everyone seemed very impressed by him today.
