While very true, it's definitely a challenge to get quality players to come play at a location like VT where Basketball is clearly second fiddle in a league where the best teams continuously have at least one or two NBA level talents. The amazing thing to me is more the Ohio State, Texas, Wisconsin, and Florida's of the world that seem to do it more often then not. Though it's not exactly that hard to convince someone to go to Florida.
I give Billy Donovan a ton of credit. He's a phenomenal coach.
I've watched that probably 5 times now and still don't get how that's possible.
Even when I was playing at 10 years old, I never had a problem reaching the rim from the 3 point line, let alone free throw line. We have all seen players air ball free throws before, but that was by far the craziest free throw attempt I have ever seen.
