Not to mention a measily 2 assists in 11 games. Sounds selfish to me

Yak will never be a big assist player as he is a pure goal scorer and I am ok with that.

VERY impressed with what he is doing at that age in the KHL. Him and Schultz have been exceeding my expectations. I can't wait to hopefully see these guys suit up for the OIL at the end of November/start of December.

I can see him putting up 50 assist seasons. His playmaking is very underrated. Didn't he get like 9 assists in the WJC?

Yakupov scores st 1:30 and 3:30 of the video.
He has the wrist shot of Ovechkin. So impressive.
He has the slap shot/one timer of Stamkos.
Hes going to be a good one.

I see him being a good playmaker too. KHL defenses give him space to shoot and his current line mates aren't worth writing home about. Things will be different in the NHL.

From what I can tell, the concept of playing a "defensive game" doesn't even exist in that league

You should watch Ovechkin team and try to tell that again

I guess as long as he is coachable defensively and not lazy, that is all you can ask for.

Yup, and 4 of those assists were against Team Canada in a single game.

Same as you.... Season ticket holder here in London and missed every game when sting were in town last year. Went to one game late in year and he was injured.

How easy was it to get tickets? And how much? I'm debating wether to go to Guelph or Sarnia

Thnx

-3 on a team that is even overall if that gives any indication. But hopefully it will come.

Lokomotiv at Neftekhimik starting in a little more than an hour. since Lokomotiv is my team i won't wish particularly good luck to Nail, but i won't be too mad if he pots one or two while Lokomotiv still wins

It's hard to cheer against Lokomotiv, so I'd prefer goals from Nail and a Neftekhimik loss as well.

link listed, but not working yet

http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/1497...komotiv-y.html

The link was just removed. Doesn't look promising for a free steam.

Yet to find a video feed but apparently Yakupov has an assist with his team up 1-0.
