Pool has now shrunken down to 10 people, so we can add again. I will say this again, even though it probably won't matter, but don't forget past players when voting in the poll and adding your recommendations.
Surprised I'm the first vote for Langenbrunner. I know he burned his bridges, but he was just so important to the 2003 Cup win (led the league in playoff goals and tied with Niedermayer for the lead in playoff points), and he was a big part in the team staying together after Stevens and Niedermayer left.
We can, but there is a ton more deserving candidates. Kovalchuk shouldn't be in this poll any time soon, for that reason, no.
There are 37 guys with more points then him and 85 that have played more games then him, and contributed more over a period of time then he did. Throwing around some more desrving names....
Shanahan, Mark Johnson, Patrik Sundstrom, Rolston, VERBEEK (who should be on this list already, wow.), Albelin, White, Paul Martin, Joe Cirella, I can probably name like 5 or 10 more.
I don't think Kovy should be on the list yet. Or anyone on the team right now aside from Marty, and Patty who were already listed. No one has really been here long enough aside from them. Parise had he still been here I would have still qualified. Zajac, Clarkson, Zubrus, Greene, even those guys I don't think have been here long enough to put in.
However Kovy did lead this team in points, and tie the league in points during the playoffs all while playing at what appeared to be not even 50 percent. I personally wouldn't be extremely opposed to it.

After 20, I wouldn't be opposed, but not now when there is more deserving candidates.

I could be missing 1 or 2 names at worst, but after all the names that are already floating around this poll and then Terreri... I start adding names like Kovalchuk, Mogilny and Guerin into the mix.
I'm seconding Terreri's addition, if that wasn't obvious.

I voted to add Colin White next. I think after that is a tossup between Rolston and Verbeek.
I loved the original Rolston. The second Rolston I despised but only because of the contract. I even scratched my head at him being a healthy scratch for much of the 95 playoffs.
