WOW, Nik Kulemin is a PPG in the KHL...awesome. Yes, I know he is playing with 2 awesome players, but the Leafs aren't expecting Kulemin to be the driving offensive force on a line, just be a great complimentary piece. If Kule can get back to something like 25-25 I'd be ecstatic.

He should be a fairly regular threat for 25 G 35 A. Might not hit it every year but should threaten it.

Kulemin PPG, though to be fair he plays on a line with the #1 and #2 scorers in the league
Must be refreshing after the last NHL season.
Grabovski also with 2A in the win over Ovechkin/Backstrom and Dynamo Moscow. 24P in 28GP.

I really hope this is a confidence booster for kulemin (grabo doesn't really need one). If they are the only two playing well for the leafs in the begininng of the new season, I wouldn't be worried because they provide a lot. Kulies got his mojo back

Good to see Kulemin back to form, he can resume to his role of carrying the #2 line if there is a season this year.

Anyone know if MacArthur is still with Crimmitschau ETC? Has only played 9 games. 11pts in those 9 games though.

Doesn't he have a couple Canadian kids?
Maybe Sergei Mozyakin would want to come over with Nik to play a few games for the Leafs now?

so than it would be a Crime not to trade for Malkin.
Kessel + Grabovski + gardiner + top 10 pick for Malkin
Neal - Crosby - Kessel
Kulemin - Malkin - Lupul

Malkin is UFA 2014.
He'll always be 2nd. in Pittsburgh unless Sid retires. He always seems to step up when Sid is off.

Nice primary assist, couple hits and some playmaking. Looks like he's having fun again.

Kulemin with 2 primaries so far.
Wasn't sure they'd be playing today, but they are.

Yep.
Wonder if this is to put some pressure on the Avs?
Maybe he'll play there the entire season, and they'll trade his rights? Okay, okay wishful thinking.
