Can you play when you get home?

If you're going to be available I'll get our game in tonight after 8.

What's the beef? Maybe we should get a ruling from HC on some of these problems from the last few days before the playoffs start.

That's ragging the puck and again shouldn't be allowed you have to make an effort to bring the puck up

I mean .. He did bring it out .. But was blatant clock draining going on particularly in 3rd with circle backs and taking puck from o-zone behind own net once! Pretty bad sportsmanship in a league like this is all!

Yeah I am in support of making a rule against this. especially before the playoffs start.

Some kinds of clock draining are legit (holding puck on boards, cycling in O zone, dumping puck, etc) as long as you aren't just hiding in your own D zone.

I agree, I'm in favor of a ruling as well. When someone does that, it's literally impossible to get the puck from them. You can't control all of your guys, so all he has to do is dish it off, and continue the cycle.

Not to mention, why even do that in first place? That type of stuff should be far away from organized leagues. Save it for random versus play....

Agreed, there is a big difference in not forcing it (i.e. extended cycle plays in the O zone) versus deliberately skating the puck out of the offensive zone all the way to your defensive zone. That's just not something that should really ever be done in a league like this.

The 5 min O-zone cycle can be just as bad as hiding in your own end ... Like you said can only control one player!! Ai is really useless in these situations where puck controlling teams ai is always trying to get open ..

A ruling going forward would be nice ... Hopefully this kind of stuff isn't allowed

So cycling in the O-zone is a bad thing to do?

No...no it's not...at all...

If you can do a cycle in the offensive zone for 5 minutes, then you're moving the puck really well and you'll likely get a good chance to score.
I've been able to cycle in the offensive zone for many minutes a few times, and I've had it done on me. There is nothing wrong with it.

Seems like a lot of jibber jabber to me. Ragging the puck is a wuss thing to do but why should it be illegal? Play to win the game.

A new patch is coming out next week.

Quote:
GM Connected
• New - Trade messaging has been added to the mode.
• Speed up Hub loading times.
• Improved responsiveness when scrolling through the Main Menu to reduce accidently scrolling past the option players want to select.
• Improved scrolling when looking to selecting a team on the trade player screen and select team screen.
• Users should no longer be able to adjust the gameplay sliders during a CPU game.
• Improved responsiveness of league search screens.
• Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause a crash when bringing up the player list on the Trade Player screen.
• Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes crash while backing out of the mailbox screen.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash while loading into the GM Connected HUB.
• Fixed a rare crash that could occur when proposing a trade to a CPU team (also fixed in Be-A-GM).
from: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/8976019.page (there's a lot more they're fixing in gameplay/presentation/etc)

BSaint, I honestly don't score enough to know what is considered a glitch shot and what isn't. In fairness however on your penalty shot I got the view problem again so maybe that evens it up a bit? I get a bit flustered in that view and can't stick with the play; as you saw when I flew back to my left and left the net open.

You are incredibly difficult to get the puck away from (without giving away a penalty). Great game I thought.

It's fine, people online always abuse the short side high glove thats why I was frustrated but you probably didn't mean it.

I've been working on my cycle and puck control haha thats probably why it was tough for you. Looks like it was paying off, I just couldn't finish.

anyway... EASHL?

It was either wrist it there or peel around the net I figured.

I can't get on EASHL tonight, girlfriend is over and she was already nice enough to let me play games once.

Should be able to on Sunday though if people are going to be around at all.
