If that doesn't work, there's an app that allows you to clear your a-gps data. This often does the trick.

Fortunately, it did work. But thanks for the other idea as well. You never know when something may come in handy.

In case some people were still waiting for the Nexus 4 to come come back into stock. It's back for North Americans!

I remember when I flashed a wonky ROM on my HTC Magic. I lost all GPS functionality until I reflashed the Radio firmware which to this day I don't understand the relation between my cellular radios and my GPS.

That's kind of weird.

And now my phone is doing the "won't deliver texts unless you make a phone call first" thing. Stupid Sprint.

Wow, the nexus 4 is so much cheaper than an S3 or the Ativs, should I be excited for this, or is this cause for concern?

If you were planing to buy your phone outright, can't beat the Nexus 4's value.

My only reservation is that LG makes questionable hardware. I work at a cell phone provider and LG phones are prone to defects and are the most common brand to be sent out for repair, although Google has some input here so it might not be the case.

So you buy the Nexus 4 off the google play store, but how would I find out which carriers in Canada would carry it?

You pop in the SIM card of whatever carrier you want to use it on and... use it.

HELP~

I encrypted my Motorola RAZR HD, got a jelly bean update from FIDO today. Installed it, after it rebooted, it wanted me to enter my pin to decrypt storage.

After I entered in the correct password, it said incorrect password???? I can't access my phone anymore.

Any suggestions? My advice is to never encrypt your phone

What a ****ing screwjob.

I think you confused "encrypt" with what you though was a lockscreen password.

It seems like factory resetting is your only option.

nope, I encrypted my phone from the settings, it prompts you to enter your password everytime you boot up the phone which worked until I updated to Jellybean OTA from Fido.

I did a factory reset, my phone at least gets into my home screen but I cannot power it off, if I power it off, my phone is stuck in a bootup cycle. I then have to do a factory reset yet again via power + volume key and everything is erased. On top of that, my phone doesn't charge anymore, it actually drains when I plug it in while its on. Also the battery symbol on the top right corner says "?"...totally ****ed

The update just turned the Samsung keyboard into the best on the market. Ridiculously fast and accurate. All bugs are gone. What a beauty.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out is now available. Although there's no Origin multiplayer support. Hopefully it shows up in an update soon.

I got my uncle, aunt and cousin a n7 for which to share and so far so good. Only my uncle is the more tech savvy of the three and they seem to like it.

Currently having my first problem with my HTC One V.

I was able to load texts fine up until 2 hours ago. Now it just says loading and refuses to complete that process. I've tried deleting temp files and restarting phone and restarting in safe mode but to no avail. I'm gonna try resetting and see what happens.

Anyone know a way to fix this?
