Haha, it's so apparent how much this league is beneath Eberle. The points aren't coming, but that's not stopping the chances/dekes/composure. I know it's obvious to say that he's too good for this, but seeing it live over and over again just makes it hilarious for me.

Is it just me or have Eberle and RNH looked a lot more engaged this game than at any time during the last two games?

i know its early, but this is the first game where eberle and RNH have truely looked like NHL's in the AHL. they are absolutely dominating everytime they're on the ice. not to forget shultz, who's looked even better.

Same with Nuge. Just the fact he tried that spin pass shows what he thinks of the AHL.

Looks like Nelson is playing with Paajarvi, Harski and the top two lines.

Nice pass off the boards from Hamilton to Byers.

I've gotta say it's nice watching all these prospects I previously only read about play. (Hamilton, Pitlick, Marincin, etc.)

I guess I could call that one (small) brightside of the lockout. I doubt I would be watching this game if the NHL season was on.

Edit: Boooyaa Ebs!

Eberle!!!! Nuge steals the puck from the goalie, feeds it to Ebs and back of the net.

Meh

Both Nuge and Ebs had to get points.

I was so looking forward to the panicy threads about how they aren't scoring 3 points a game.

We should trade them, they ruin everything.

Great individual effort by RNH and a beauty backhand leads to the Barons going up 4-2. Yonkman has been giving our guys the business tonight including Arcobello seconds before Tyrvainen came in and plastered him with a board rattling high hit. Period over.

A dominating period by the Barons. Shades of the future perhaps. What would this team look like with Hall and Yakupov on it?
