im not putting ryan into the top 5. Im just saying his past performances arent really anything to go on. Anything can change any year. Base predictions on the present, not the past. Right now they have the best record in football and have been my super bowl pick since the preseason and i have no reason to back away from that yet.
As for rivers, at one point in time he probably was the #5 qb in the league behind the 4 undisputed elites. He was good for 4000 yards, 25-30 tds, and 10 wins for a solid 2 or 3 seasons. Since then, hes lost LT, jackson, and gates has been banged up. Also his defense his a joke now after being one of the top defenses then.
Don't ever defend that pouting baby rivers again. Pouting chucker, that's what he is. An absolutely brutal chucker. He had weapons all over on O and a good D for years and he chucked games away. Him and that little puzz bag cutler will never win anything.

But I guess when you're a Saints fan and your team is under .500 because your pillhead coach got suspended/terminated for his classless players paying each other to deliberately injure others, you have nothing else to fall back on besides Matt Ryan's playoff history.

I really don't get the Matt Ryan hate and the "choker" label put on him. Yes, he hasn't exactly lit it up in the playoffs. But unless I'm mistaken, weren't those last two playoff losses against the eventual Super Bowl champs? Yes, he had a pretty crappy game in each, but his team still gave up 40+ points. He's only on the hook for part of it (namely in terms of INTs for TDs, or turnovers which gave great field position back). The defense still didn't execute either in those. And again, he's been in the league for such a short period. There's no sample size there.
