Look no further then Alonzo Spellman (Former Bear DE) who is bipolar and once barricaded himself in a home with hostages
Or Brandon Marshall and his mental disorder
I'm not saying Belcher went nuts because of brain damage. I'm just saying he likely has some brain damage as a result of playing football. The two aren't necessarily related.

Sorry for jumping to that conclusion
Reading some posts around internet and some of media coverage I am just annoyed by the fact some are jumping to conclusion of concussions and laying blame for this murder at that (Which is BS imo)
Apparently Belcher killed himself in front of Crennel and Pioli. Also, the gf's mother witnessed her daughter die. Just terrible news coming out of this. I don't know how they're playing this game tomorrow.
Pure insanity. Just about everything about this situation is completely ****ed.
Yeah basically...they can't even claim the game's important to the playoff chase cause neither team's going to the playoffs anyway. They could get away with outright canceling if they wanted to. It'd be even more impossible to do if some division or wild card spot hinged on this game.
Didn't expect the game to be postponed. They didn't postpone anything after 9/11. I've only seen one game postponed in recent memory. Don't remember what it was though but it was played on a Tuesday. I want to see Vikings after their stadium collapsed by snow but I could be wrong.

Not true
- Strength of schedule around leagues would be altered (And that alters some of playoff pictures)
- Draft would be altered
Game could have been pushed back to January 3rd IMO (Season ends 30th of Dec)
Play a game on 3rd of January (KC Stadium isn't booked for anything) ,, It would occur days before the playoffs start so that wouldn't be an issue IMO
It would just basically be an additional thursday night game
poor guy must've been going through some serious ****. I feel bad for Crennel and Pioli too. it'd be pretty hard to not get shaken up after something that terrible

Poor guy just took an innoncent 22 yr old mothers life
Screw him ,, He was a 25 yr old NFL player making good $$$ and driving a car that most of us cant afford if we tried to save $$$ for 15 years
Whatever problems he had ,, None of them should have resulted in him murdering his GF and leaving a 3 month old daughter parentless

Actually they did postpone games after 9/11, they moved them to the last week of the season.
The other game that was postponed was a game in Philly a couple years back because of a huge snowstorm (the one where Elias and Zajac had to sleep in their car on the highway after a game against the Leafs).
At the very least it wouldn't have killed them to move it back to Monday afternoon (Sure no one would watch ,, But really outside of KC/Car fans who haven't turned off there teams no one would watch anyway)

little known fact that game was the only time i've ever been outside of Canada. chances are will be the only home game for the Devils that i'll see live in a while
Yeah I really don't feel for the guy at all. Lost the emotional support when he killed his girlfriend. Feel bad for the teammates, coaches, and families effected.

lol I meant the Toronto game (for the Devils) that was on the night of the snowstorm which postponed the NFL game. Philly was the NFL game that was postponed from Sunday to Tuesday.

I had tickets to that Devil/Leafs game but my parents wouldn't let me go. It's the only time since high school that my parents actually forbid me from doing something. Devils allowed ticketholders to exchange those tickets for a future game.
Of course I picked the Wild game where Hedberg let in a goal that deflected off the boards from center ice.

I know lol, i was saying that i went to that game at the Rock. It was Boxing Day 2010 and they wanted us to sit up close to the ice so the cameras didnt show an almost empty arena. literally the only New Jersey i have seen in person is the snow-up-to-your-waists of December 2010.
