Any highlights? I wanna see these goals. Sounds like Henrique and Tedenby had some nice moves tonight.

I was in that end, in the corner 12 rows up. The first disallowed goal where the net came off was obviously the right call. The second incidental contact looked like a blown call to me.

Yep, the average is about 14k, pretty much everybody in the rink gets $5 or $10.

Team donated $650,000 to local charities last season.

The return of the AHL has been a real success here. Every home game has sold. There are over 5000 STH like myself.

There is a desire for the team to be a success for many reasons, not the least is it a real stick in the eye to Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment, who hauled the baby Leafs out of here in 2005 for no justifiable reason

cost of a plane flights back and forth from the coast to call up players vs a short cab ride. also the experience of learning to live in a media center like toronto and dealing with the ******** that comes with it.

its actually quite justifiable.

That Henrique goal was a thing of beauty. And yeah, Dangleby doing what he does best.

They were profitable when they were here, drew well (consistently in the 80% range). Fans came out even when the team was bad as it often was. We even built the new rink as MLSE demanded. As soon as they could legally leave they did.

Leaves a bad taste in ones mouth. I quit being a Leafs fan after 40 years over it.

Ironically, the Caps outdrew the Marlies last season. Not very many sellouts at Ricoh vs every game sold out at MileOne. You could buy playoff tickets in TO on game day. They were going for over $100 a game here on Kijiji.

The media circus in TO is for the Leafs not Marlies, living in a place where the hockey matters is more evident here than in TO for the Marlies.

At the end of the day the fans here were shafted undeservedly so.

Was the announcer's teamsheet full of typos? The way he calls Teddy Tedbemni and all sorts of other variations was hilarious. It was also Urbon all through the night.

i agree the circus is for the leafs and not the marlies but living in the same city as the leafs and seeing how the papers, television and radio report and hound the big club daily can give them somewhat an idea of what to expect. that said, it can also be a double edged sword as they are already 'wasting' kadri away in the news. the pressure can bust some players literally.

too bad the fans had to suffer but consider yourself lucky you are rid of that joke franchise. at least you arent like most other leafs' sheep.

Tedenby had a slick game overall. Him and Josefson are really good together on the pp I think.

Tedenby wasn't so slick. He was on the ice for all 3 goals against as were Zalewski and Wiseman and it looks like Zalewski deflected the 2nd goal against.

Well then, first goal Larsson was on a rush, lost the puck and was not covered for correctly. I would say it's more the center's job to give support there. Second goal was a mix of a real good play by Klingberg (is his name right? not sure) and weak by Kinkaid. You shouldn't get scored on from there.

Third goal I's say the whole line got caught with the hand in the cookie jar, and that might be the only one where I would consider Tedenby at fault for poor defensive coverage.

At least that's how I saw it. I'm not sure what went so wrong at the last goal but that was really bad.

You have to go to http://www.stjohnsicecaps.com/ and click your way through.

Just got another goal waived off. I'm gonna miss this one, going to Philly for some evening open hockey
