definitely expected more from this Albany team, it all just looks a bit messy.
They don't look in sync just yet. Their coverage and their support just isn't there right now. The best line is the fourth line, and they've been their best line it's also been Sestito-Zajac-Hoeffel/Sislo
This is awful to watch.. not sure if its because the team is playing like **** or its just not as fun as NHL... Still though things aren't looking good right now, especially for Larsson and Henrique, I expected way more out of them (Yes i know its still early)
Not at all. Each player is on completely different worlds right now. Spacing between forwards and D is stupidly big, there is no support whatsoever, and they just look like they were thrown out there without having practiced.
Hopefully, the chemistry will build over time, but right now, they just look awful.
3 home losses is not good. This team looked a hell of a lot better on the road. The defense did not help Kinkaid that much. I didn't see the fourth goal but the other 4 were all a result of bad defensive coverage. I wonder if the fact that the arena is mostly empty and quiet hurts the team because they certainly played better on Saturday.
JJ, they finally decided to play when it was too late.
He's been the only consistently good player in every game I've seen so far. He, and Matt Anderson were the only players with a plus rating in this game. Larsson, Henrique, Butler. -2 a piece.
Wow this team really sucks. Aside from Josefson having almost a goal per game. What's really scary is that Connecticut had no NHL players in their lineup at all other than Matt Gilroy from what I see. Gilroy, and that goon Michael Haley. No Krieder, not even Wade Redden in the lineup tonight. There is no defensive system whatsoever with this team. Guys left alone in the slot, guys skating right up to the net everywhere you look. All we need is Jacques Lemaire's ''They look like they lost their ability to play the game'' presser.
They need a new head coach. Have Pete hand-pick someone.
It would be a good idea to do this and get them playing the same system as the big club, so the kids are all already well versed in it when they get called up. Buffalo saw great success developing their prospects with this method in the middle of last decade.
