NBA Preseason: October 19th New York vs Toronto @ Centre Bell

Anyone attending this?

I remember 2 years ago, there was over 22K at the Bell Centre for a similar event.

Not going but actually looking forward to the NBA season and I never really cared about basketball. With all the moves the Lakers made should be fun

Don't know if you're serious, but Vince Carter plays for the Dallas Mavericks and Lin plays for the Houston Rockets.

Probably won't go unless I score some cheap tickets, I'm curious to see what the turnout will be like.

I already went to the previous pre-season game at the Bell

I'm not going for another Raptors-NYK game

This should be one of the most competitive teams the Raps have put out in a while, but they're in likely the toughest divisions in the NBA. Looking forward to watching Nash, Kobe and Howard playing together.

I predict basketball in Canada is going to be much more popular down the road, given the superstar/allstar potential coming up. Exciting times, may give the US a nice run in 2016 in Rio.

Canadian Andrew Wiggins may be the future of the NBA

His dad is American - he was a member of the 86 Houston Rockets team that lost to the Celtics in Finals - but Andrew was born in Canada

Is this another "no basketball team in Montréal, let's cheer for Toronto" syndrome???

It means "A couple of people care about baseball, why not go to a pre-season game."

I like the sport of basketball, but really am not a fan of the NBA. With the lockout, I may try giving it a shot and see how I feel... we shall see.

I was a Knicks' fan ten years ago when I followed the sort, so...go them.

I'm not sure about the pure hinterlands but in Montreal there's plenty of basketball fans.

Not enough for an NBA team, but things like this are great.

I love the NBA but don't give a crap about the Raptors, nor the Knicks. If it was the Celtics coming to town, I'd try to get as close to the sidelines as possible.

Maybe I'll check into it if tickets aren't too expensive but the match-up isn't really interesting to me.

I don't give a **** about the Raptors either.

I find it really hard to watch the NBA, I much prefer the March Madness.

I might go though, could be fun.

As a Knicks fan, I wouldn't want to watch the Knicks if I wasn't a fan either.

They are great if you have a thing for old men though, oldest average age in NBA history!

People still think Montrealers want to see a crappy Toronto team in a preseason game.

Keep a lookout for JR Smith at the clubs, and whatever you do, don't get into a car with him.

J.R. Smith will not travel with the team on the three-game road trip to Montreal, Albany, and Syracuse. The shooting guard is dealing with a sore left ankle and was held out of the last preseason win over Boston last Saturday night.
