[QUOTE=IU Hawks fan;56847121]Damn, Shaw just got clobbered. Lots of head contact there.
Didn't look that dirty to me and Bollig takes a double minor and the Wolves scored. Two bad penalties first Paradis in the first and Bollig and both lead to Wolves goals.
Hogs took it to the Wolves all night long ... nice win.
don't know what thread to put this in - but Scotty Bowman's on twitter @coachwsb (and yes, it's actually him - confirmed by other credible media sources, like Bob McKenzie):
scott bowman @coachwsb
Exciting AHL game @ Rockford tonight 3-2 Rockford Big Crowd Excellent Goaltending. AHL great deal for fans Lots of future NHL ers
SSSHHHHH, we don't want that to become conventional wisdom. He's on pace to match his rookie pro year and will be 23 within a week.
He's also spent the majority of the year playing with the likes of Bollig, Paradis, Flick, etc. I'm not Beach's biggest fan, but it's not hard to understand why he's not producing when you look at the lines.

He is playing with guys of his caliber ,, Not sure what the issue is

Isn't that where your showcase studs play? They are grooming Beach to be a 4th liner.
I am pretty close to giving up on Beach...I thought he would of turned it around this year after having a decent start and a good start/finish last year.
I still think they should give him a 4th line call up to the pros to see if his game is more suited there, but I doubt that happens.
Thanks Tallon, for screwing up the future of this team.

I think this is a little over-dramatic, don't you? Future of the club is still looking pretty damn good with the current crop of prospects in place. I'm not a Tallon apologist by any stretch of the imagination but I think people need to get over him and move on and stop finding ways to blame him for everything that happens to this team going forward. He did some good things, did some bad things, as does just about any GM of any team in any sport. It's 2013, he's been gone for four years. Move on.

If Tallon drafted like an avg GM, we would have quality NHLers on the team right now. Most of the prospects we have are a year or 2 away and were mostly brought in by Bowman and Co.
Tallon had 2 ****** high picks, Skille and Beach, which could of been Eberle and Kopitar.

You could pick apart every GM in the history of sports like this. How about every GM the year Lidstrom was drafted at the end of the draft? We could go on and on about even the best GM's in the game missing on guys that turned out to be better than their own picks. He was a bad drafter for the most part, I nor really anyone else is going to argue that. To blanket-statement him as the sole screwer-upper (yeah, I just said that) of the future is a bit off. People need to just let it go. He did some good things in his own right but all any detractors want to point out ever is the negative, which there no doubt is plenty of.

He was horrid at draft ,, Really that simple
Toews fell into his lap and Kane was not gonna be passed up by Hawks (Who needed a young American face of franchise)
2 absolutely awful 1st round failures (Skille and Beach) and another who looks very meh (Olsen)
Failed with every other draft pick outside of Hjalmarsson... Every 2nd/3rd rounder he used failed
Very well may not. I saw enough of him in his stint with the Hawks that there's something there worth allowing to develop and be patient with, especially given the position and age. Not going to pull the plug on a 22 year old defenseman.

No one's pulling the plug on him yet
But being "meh" about a 22-year-old 1st round pick who you don't think will ever move past the bottom pair at the NHL level sounds pretty fair to me.
