Mackinnon is looking like he's grown since last year.

He's also being hit by puberty hard...between the breaking voice and acne, kid should be happy he's a hockey superstar.

Ha, and the stache doesn't help either.

Grigs with a snipe from the hashmarks on a 3 on 1.

Hudon's defensive play is great.

Hudon seems to be progressing really well at intercepting pucks, as well as his first pass.

Hudon really impresses me with his craftyness. His skill level and hockey IQ are both outstanding. He has an NHL future.

Vasilevski the goalie looks like he's a future premier #1.

Hudon misses on a good opportunity there.

I'm assuming Galchy will be on team OHL? That should be fun. Grigs is the best player on the ice so far tonight.

I wish. The only eligible players are Canadians and Russians.

Would Gally be eligible to play for Russia if he didn't play for Americans?

This russian goalie is pretty solid. If not for him, this game would be tied. Instead, Québec has Marcoux who can't stop a beach ball tonight.

Hudon is the Q's best player tonight. First time I see him. Impressed, very impressed.

Yeah, I think this series started around 10 years ago so and it's always been like that. It's basically Hockey Canada's way of getting a look at what they have for the WJC camp in December.

This game is probably 2-1 Russia if Fucale is in net.

Awards:
One thing I like about Hudon is that he's the same player every time I watch him - really good hockey sense, hard working, some sandpaper...very likeable player.

From the Q I was impressed by Hudon, Ouellet, Tesink, Paquette and Culkin. Not impressed by Marcoux, MacKinnon, Mantha, Dea, Oligny, Andrews.

Grigorenko has been Russia's best forward by far, and Vasilevski is playing great.

Really wish we could've seen Nichushkin and Kucherov though.

You can see Yakupov is not interested in playing those games. No intensity.
