Thats solid production in a NHL Czech player flooded league.
I don't think the Czech league has been all that effected by the lockout in general. There aren't that many Czech NHLers and not all of them choose that league.
I mean you have Tlusty-Plekanec-Jagr/Kaberle-Zidlicky as Czech league Voltron but most teams weren't as fortunate as Kladno.
According to commentators and also onlajny.com (text report) Pribyl played very good game. He was sent as a sixth player in the powerplay at the end of the game because of that.
The Bulldogs could add Dietz and Josiah Didier at the end of the season, depending upon injuries or trades by that time.Giving their defence a jolt of toughness,in Didier's case a stay at home defenceman with a real edge,a love er..fascination with demolishing hits and blocking shots. The Habs have a great depth of defencemen that can play the game any way the coaches need.+A

A big NO to Didier. Type of d-man who will need a lot of time to define his game. Still in a 7 d-man rotation in Denver. He'll need to a top 6 starter first 2 pairings to be considered AFTER his junior year if ever. Might even be the type of d-man to stay the full 4 years. We'll see. And with Bennett who should be coming, and with what we already have, you know that the Habs will actually encourage Didier to stay there for at least 3 years if not 4.
Most underrated d-man we have in our organization. I'll say something bold as, for me, he's our most surefire NHL'er we have in our organization. Might not be the one who will get there the fastest, but he will be there. I also believe Beaulieu will make it, also believe Tinordi will make it. But Dietz is for me a sure bet all-around. Not saying he has the biggest upside though.
agreed 100% ,safest prospect we have next to Tinordi

As you say Whitesnake,it's highly unlikely the Habs intend to rush any defencemen into the pros with all of the rookie prospects already in Hamilton.Anyone that doesn't know the actual depth of potential pro Dmen the Habs have coming, they are deep in prospects in Hamilton now and still have Bennett,Didier,Dietz and Thrower still coming.Other teams are drooling reading about their depth no doubt.

There is no rush.....but one day soon...we will have to transform some of those D's in forwards....A good problem to have. Can't wait to make a Goligoski for Neal type of trade. And it will/should happen.

This is not a bad problem at all..there will be a few unexpected disappointments along the way and when the time comes and we have too many of the same sort of players...let the trades begin.

The way it has to be looked at is that prospects and picks are really the main form of currency in the NHL, especially in the salary cap era. It's just too hard to do player-for-player deals once they exit their ELCs. So drafting and cultivating good "investments" and "prospect capital" is pivotal. Case in point, the LA Kings, Penguins and Flyers.
The Swedish team for the November U20 4-nations tournament has been announced, Collberg is on it but Nystrom is not. It probably means Nystrom is cut from the WJC-team, no official cuts are made before the final team is selected though.
The Habs seem to have the inside track on the Blazers & WHL scoring leaders with both Tim Bozon & Brendan Ranford 3rd & 4th WHL scorers at their Hamilton training camp earlier this summer and the #2 WHL scorer Colin Smith could be signed June 20 2013 as a 20 year old and the#1 overall WHL scorer is JC Lipon who turns 20 on July 10th 2013 they could draft in 2013 draft.Giving the Bulldogs the top 4 WHL scorers at present and they are the only undefeated team in the CHL at 12-0-0-1 and 25pts.The QMJHL's Halifax Mooseheads are a very close 2nd at 12-1-0-0 and 24pts.Given the Mooseheads are missing their best player Johnathan Drouin it's even closer than the Stats. show.

Sucks about Nystrom but that team is stacked and Nystrom has a height disadvantage vs some of the other fringe prospects you'd want in the grinder roles. Will be a great opportunity for Collberg though.
Is Walsh no longer at Dartmouth? They played 2 games with huge rosters and he wasn't there...
Yes he is. Still in the roster. And an alternate captain for the year. But they have so many players, that they are sending their rookies to see what they've got. Walsh isn't the only senior that didn't play. Goggin didn't play as well. But then, other seniors have played though, so maybe it's not that. Maybe he's hurt again which clearly, would be what he was all about. Maybe somebody knows the answer....
