Yeah seems like it continues in the 3rd with 2 back-to-back penalties. Im not sure if thats a reflection of the players or the coaching TBH.

Holy crap. What is up with all the garbage penalties the Rampage are taking?
Bench Selleck for starters.

AHL live needs to figure out when to show the ads though, it would have been nice to see at least a second of the winning celebration.

Just a thought:
The Wild board had FIVE pages of talk about the Aeros-Rampage game tonight and we can't even muster up a full one about the Rampage. What's up with that?

Well I think the fact that they had Granlund and Coyle on the Aeros made a difference. If you put Huberdeau and Bjugstad on the Rampage this thread might fill up a bit more. Aside from that I had another task on my agenda otherwise I would have probably been here.

This game was way better, excluding the penalties, than yesterday. They did review the 1st goal we had, which is nice to have now in this league.

Just watched the highlights. Looked like Marky had some really good saves today.

Awesome.
Wow, look at how similar that mask is to Beezer's old mask (but this is better IMO than Beezers):

Beezers

Markstroms

That is nice! Really wish I could see it with the Panthers uniform.

It's not the coaching. Weber is at his wits end and was visibly frustrated after the game yesterday. He mentioned the players need to quit screaming at the officials and "look in the mirror". Also said they would be watching every single penalty taken in the first two games on Tuesday and will be stressing accountability to teammates.

FWIW, Selleck didn't see the ice again after his Boarding call in the 3rd period.

Rampage started out in coma mode but woke up after the first 5 minutes and started playing. Markstrom did an awesome job in goal, that second period neverending PK could have been nasty if it wasn't for him and the Aeros carefree play in the neutral zone. Howden had a really good breakaway on SH but couldn't finish.

Takeaway from this is if we play full 60 minutes and put a muzzle on Selleck so we're not in the penalty box for a full period, we can beat teams that have more skilled forwards.
