I watched the highlights a minute ago. Highlights never tell the whole story but Pickard was at least better than the stats indicated. When I listened to the game yesterday, I thought he was absolutely terrible but I have to give the Marlies some credit here.

It sounded (only radio) like he did yesterday. At least sometimes.

I don't know crap about basketball and I freely admit that but trust me, primary and secondary assists in hockey are terms that mean absolutely nothing (less than +/-) and IF it DID, you can bet that you'd be able to get the primary/secondary assists stats from TSN.ca and NHL.com. You can't because it's a worthless, meaningless stat because it implies that secondary assists are somehow 'less' valuable than primary ones.
I've shown why in my example but you can believe whatever you want to believe.
For me, labeling 'primary/secondary' assists is as ludicrous as that glowing puck thing they tried FOX about 15 years ago.

I'd rather see Barry Goers play than Sullivan. Also I wonder what Bordy did.

I really wish we could get a real tv broadcast more often than the arena feed/radio PBP.

A team that's called Checkers has a polar bear mascot and robots on their jumbotron.

Stollery really sucks. An upgrade on D is needed badly for the Monsters.

Olver and Connolly has looked much more assertive lately. I was very underwhelmed by what I saw from them earlier.

Honestly, I think Olver had it on cruise control early in the year, pretty much treating it like a warm up for the NHL season.

Probably missed a meeting or stayed out too late. Probably not a problem.

Hard not to get a little bit excited by Sgarbossa's ability to execute in the offensive zone, both when it comes to passing and shooting.
Hopefully it'll work at the NHL level too.

Sgarbossa picking up a rebound and shooting it between the goalies pads.
