Great third period COMPLEATLY different team from the first and second, That was Johnson's best period of the season to date, hopefully this gets the ball rolling for him, Ho-Sang by far this was his best game of the season at times he controlled the game and his 2 passes were great and he added a nice goal on a breakaway from a great pass from Ebert. And for Pavelka well let's just say without him this games a blowout, I mean WOW amazing saves I know people doubt him but I'm a bieliever, a couple of the wins this season is all him, and he has made atleast 10 highlight saves this year, I think with a better Defence infront of him his numbers would look a lot better. Spitfires have a test tommorow, and it's on consistence because that's where this squad has struggled, and you have to figure they'll be meeting a mad Rangers team that lost to Niagra today, I hope they build off this and come out Gunz ablazin tommorow and can pick up a huge 2 points in a tight Western Conference.

I know, There was an article about it as well. Not the first time Windsor has done it to a player. Excellent move by the spits, seems to have woke him up a bit. Hopefully it lasts for the season.

After a terrible 35 minutes Spits came alive for the last 25 with Pavelka giving a Binnington like performance,HoSang was outstanding, the Vail-Rychel-HoSang line as well as the Clarke-Johnson- Schoenmakers line played well the last 25 minutes, prob

Im definitely looking more towards the college route, he says. I went up [to Green Bay], had a great time. Its a great club, great organization so right now Im all for the college route.

As for Windsor, he says its always there, but he never really considered the move. After all, while most children aged 15 to 18 spend all four years in one city, hes already lived in three.
No real loss, did not impress at training camp, small, not physical and while numbers are not everything he has 2 pts in 13 games with janesville of the NAHL which is 2 or 3 leagues below the caliber of the O,the fact that he is a 95 born player is even worse
Let him go to school

After embarassing loses to Owen Sd,Guelph, and London Spits have played much better when facing them again, beating Guelph, much better game and effort at Own Sd,and knocking off London
Shows character in my view

With the win tonite Spits go from 8th to 2nd place in the conference 1 pt up on the idle SSM,in the close Western Conference standings
Spits are 3-0-0-2 in their last 5 home games
Interestingly the Spits record is 6-2-0-3 against the rest of the O excluding London,Owen Sd and Guelph, where they are 2-4 with 2 loses vs Owen Sd
Not bad for a team that has been inconsistent most if not all season

Sounds like it was a good game and a big 3rd period. I am still not sold on them being close with Owen Sound. Windsor had a chance on the PP with 2 5 minute majors and failed to do anything. Not sure you can count on getting chances like that in a game and they still lost by a few goals. It's good to see they're finally beating teams not named the Soo or Erie. Need to win tonight, it's been well over a month since they have strung together 2 straight wins.

Don't forget that OS was also the third road game of the weekend (regardless of the day-off Saturday). That's not easy. OS is also a very tough building for any team to win in.

Are you referring to Owen Sound playing their 3rd game in 2.5 days? I would agree that's not easy for any team.

Busy weekend for both teams, plus one team at home = advantage home team.

Not suggesting I would trade him there or anywhere for that matter but for Bateman, along with Brampton,Missy is closest to his hometown of Caledon,30-40 minutes away

Bateman playing with DeMelo and Percy would be good for him. I'd probably want a couple second rounders back - one second for this year and then maybe a conditional second based on if he comes around or not.

OS is a better team than the Spitfires so far but OS having 2 home games and the Spits playing 3 on the road that weekend may have factored in on it as well.

Prediction, I'll say 8-4 Kitchener if the spits come out with another inconsistent loss after a good win. But if they come out and use last night as fuel and come out and play solid ill say the spits take it 5-3.

Early scrap between Emerson Clark and Nick Czinder. Both held their own, until Clark gets a good shot in that pops Czinder's helmet off. Clark also had him bent over pretty good and throwing some shots. If you saw Gilmour v. Kinkel years ago, this kind of reminded me of that, only not as one-sided and no blood. Just the total lack of using size to advantage. Edge Clark.

Have you watched Kitchener, they can't score

Did Czinder get along with the Spitfires when he was here? Seems like he's a bit of a target tonight. Bilcke just leveled him...with timing after the pass being questioned (the commentators even suggested five for charging).

Bilcke with a ridiculously late hit on Czinder. What a clown. Clark I can understand as they weren't teammates, but what's Bilcke trying?

Bilcke and Czinder were teammates. That's why I asked if Czinder had issues in the room; seems to be the target.

My last post wasn't a reply to yours - we posted at the same time (or you posted while I was hen pecking at my keyboard with two fingers putting my post together.

But to answer - Bilcke is just a knucklehead.

Yea he is, he said coming into this season he wanted to prove something well what he has proven atleast so far is that he's a goon and a player who can't do anything offensively. I like the kid he tries hard but he's incapable of producing offencesively in this league, he's already ripped through half his fights and by game 40 I suspect he will have reached 10. He looks like he tries to hit to kill out there but sometimes you just need to knock them off the puck, needs to start straightening up and think about trying to help this team in a different way, look at E,Clarke he gets chances and gets some points and he hits hard, fights, Ty needs to start playing like him a bit more but personally I think that's out of his ability.
