Lincecum change-up is still one hell of a pitch.

Lotsa ball to play. Tomorrow's game will be the one that tells you just about all you need to know.

In other words: How do the Tigers respond?

How did the Tigers make it through the whole freakin' season with Valverde as their closer? Just awful.

He is gong to pull a Cordero with whatever team he signs with in the off-season.

It still feels so weird to see Lincecum as a RP

What are the odds LIncecum starts game 5 or 6 if the Giants can clinch?

Just watched the Brunt essay Timeless. Not bad.

I love anything that has "touch 'em all Joe" in it.

I feel really bad for Valverde, not that I'm cheering for the Tigers, but you never want to see someone struggle so badly that they break down and cry.

One of the best sounding pitching matchups ever:

Fister Bumgarner

Daniel Norris ‏@DanielNorris18

Tim McCarver just said pitchers should resort to wearing helmets like catchers. Shut shut shut ur mouth Tim. You're coming off stupid.

Haha, I would have to agree with Norris. Scary situation though for Fister. Seems to be okay though which I have no idea how.

Looked like more of a deflection than a direct hit. Glad he's ok, but I think it looked worse than it actually was. For the ball to reach all the way to the outfield it tells me his head didn't take alot of the ball's energy.

Watching this Sergio Romo interview, I've come to two conclusions: 1. He's one of the coolest baseball players I've ever heard interviewed and 2. The amount of fun the giants have makes me think the Blue Jays "immaturity" and "lack of leadership" issues are absolutely overblown. That team is the biggest bunch of jokers, and they're in the series. Seems to work for them.

Yup. General rule is as long as you're winning, it doesn't really matter what else you're doing. I'd still like to see another veteran player added though.

Big difference between having fun and not being accountable. Winning would certainly help, but you can be disciplined and professional about your work and still have a good time.
