Eh, I don't see the people/companies who have had season tickets for years in the gold/silver/black sections giving them up over a $3-5 hike.

You can't go on the lower level with an upper deck ticket, unless you have the stock season tickets.

What he said.

Just get outfield reserved seats. Good buy.

*you're not suppose to... if you're creative, it can be done. Me and my buddies have done it plenty of times before, and do the same here at Turner Field. Just look for a ticket checker who isn't paying attention... worst case he catches you and you just walk back out with your tail between your legs, no big deal.

Well obviously it can be done, I'm just talking about the average folks who are going to follow the rules. Smart people will sneak by the guy at the FUNdamentals deck.

I'd rather sit in the upper level in the infield than lower level of the outfield, so I normally just stay upstairs all game.

What section is that? Been a little while since my last visit there.

My preference is the first few rows, of the second deck, to get a birds eye view of everything... preferably half way between 1B/3B and the outfield wall. Perfect view for me.

It's in the left field corner. Go in around 554-556 I think.

From Rotoworld:

According to Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Cubs have interest in free agent right-handers Brandon McCarthy and Shaun Marcum.
Following the model they used last offseason with Paul Maholm and David DeJesus, the Cubs are targeting buy-low types that they could sign to modest deals and potentially flip for prospects at the trade deadline next year. The Cubs have more money to spend this winter, but they figure to have plenty of competition for both pitchers.

As long as their 1 year deals, I'm perfectly fine with either of them. Hell, sign both if you can if it's just a 1 year deal.

I'd give McCarthy more than one year, actually, I'd give him as much as 3, he is a proven quality starter.

Granted, Sprint Field would probably be a step up from what it is now....

Yeah, if the money was worth it... I'd go as much as 5 years on McCarthy.

Nothing more than a 2 year deal for Marcum, and preferably one. I don't trust that elbow one bit.

I'd be happy getting those two but it definitely wouldn't be enough to compete for a playoff spot even if everything went right. I'd actually much prefer Baker to Marcum. If they could couple those moves with a couple great arms for the pen, then who knows. I'd like to see us at least field a team that could be like the 98 Cubs IF everything went right.

Mmm... Love me some Scott Baker. Consistency is his middle name.

Orioles have interest in Josh Hamilton

Haha, yeah.

Hey, if they want to give something up for him, be my guest. Provided AJ returns (I think he will) I think Phegley is more of a backup type anyways with his superior defense.

If you make Flowers your starter, he's probably going to hit 20 homers. That appeals to some teams.

And he would probably set the record for most strikeouts in a single season if he got enough ABs to jack 20.

He'd definitely have a lot of strikeouts but look at catchers around the league. You get a guy that can hit .220 and belt 20 homers (.700-750 OPS), you're doing better than a decent chunk of teams.
