Make Whole. How Would it Work?

Let's say the PA accepted the owners 50-50 + Make Whole.

How would that work?

Are there teams who would have to cut salary?

The Bruins are at $68M. Does make whole allow them to stay there?

What would the cap actually be anyway?

It's 70M at 57 percent. So where is the new cap?

Does the 50-50 + Make Whole essentially give some teams a higher cap than others in years 1+2?

So a team like Boston can spend $68m but the Wings can not go much higher than their $61M?

The make whole takes 7% of the current HRR and defers part of it to the following year and another part to two years from now. Along with that, the current cap would be artificially set at 70 million for year one and be reset to 50% I believe in year two.

It's effectively a rollback in the first year or two, made up for in the following couple years for the players affected. So anybody under the cap now would stay under.
