I loved Die Hard 1 - 3. 4 was eh... This one actually looks betterish than 4. We'll see.

I still think Die Hard 1 & 2 were the best. The single location thing (yeah 2 was partially in other places, but 95% was in the airport vicinity) is what made both movies so awesome. Die Hard 2 gets slack because it's too similar to the first, but I think it's very underrated.

Who were you in With a Vengeance?

From the guy who wrote Hitman, The A-Team, and Wolverine and directed by the buy who gave us Max Payne and The Omen remake.

This one is going to be awful. A blue tinted, loud, cheesy, generic, brainless CGI fest with explosions every other second so the teenybopper crowd won't get bored.

I thought 4 was good too. Not as good as 1 or 3, but certainly better than 2.
Not a bad title either, though I was expecting something more along the lines of Old Habits Die Hard.

I've liked all of them so far, another one can't hurt.

I do hope it's a bit more violent than the last one. Needs more swearing and blood.

I find these movies fun; thought the last one was okay, and too far over the top in several moments; but overall fun. They are good popcorn action flicks. I could still watch the first one over and over again; one of the best action flicks ever made.

I'd rank them like this:
Die Hard
Die Hard with a Vengence
Die Hard 2
Live Free or Die Hard

There is a great fan-edit of Die Hard 2 I watched a while back that tightens it up a lot.

That's how I'd rank them as well. 1 and 3 are close.

I'm thrilled. Nothing wrong with another Bruce Willis shoot 'em up movie.
