Quebec City Part VII: Si J'avais les ailes d'un ange
Interesting, Gary's press conference has a french NHL logo. After making NHL web side in french as well, now this. Does the NHL envision expending its presence in Québec?
Can't wait for the next Jets vs. Nordiques game next year. Curt Brackenbury for GM.
Réal Cloutier for coach.
From what I understand if the Nordiques return Patrick Roy is supposedly the first pick as head coach. Could be just rumor but it makes sense on a bunch of levels.

Not sure he is that good of a coach. He as a good reputation has a player, but his team have often under performed like this year.
Oh, you have to keep the original logo, no exceptions. I looked on the Wiki page, and it said they were considering new logos and jerseys for the season after they moved if they didn't move, and I just laughed. Looked nothing like what a Quebec logo should be.

I would, too, keep the old logo but you can be sure Quebecor will go for a rede$ign , even if PKP said they would still be called the Nordiques. He never talked about the logo...

I've mentioned it before but I'm tired of this whole fake-retro thing. We live in an age of unprecedented advancement in virtually every facet of life that the majority of people wholeheartedly embrace but for some reason in sports we apparently have to pretend we're stuck in the 60s. How about actually employing a little creativity for once? Just because there were some ****** redesigns in the 90s doesn't mean a new look is guaranteed to be bad and you can reference history without having to rip it wholesale just because it's old - Ottawa did a great job of doing exactly that with their thirds.
