Rank Forsberg, Sundin, H Sedin, Loob and Naslund

Curious how other posters would rank Forsberg, Sundin, H Sedin, Loob and Mats Naslund. I'm thinking in simple terms of who was the better player.

I'd rank them : 1. Forsberg 2. Sundin 3. H Sedin 4. Loob 5. Naslund, though Loob and Naslund are close to inter-changable.

Basically the same as this, but i would take Naslund over Loob by a clear but not big margin.

This is a real interesting view on things. However i feel that Sedin has yet to prove his worth when it matters to be on the same ledge as Forsberg. Not only was Peter the supreme talent, but he got the job done.

Sundin was clearly better than Forsberg when he got to play under the same circumstances as him, meaning on the international level. He was a clear cut winner on the contrary to what some NHL-dependant people do think.

Forsberg was considered a significantly better player than Sundin when they both were playing and healthy, no?

So what's the case for ranking Sundin higher (or at least on a similar level)? Sheer longevity?

Ranking Sundin even with or above Forsberg is kinda like ranking Mark Messier even with or above Mario Lemieux

Some have missed it, but the OP is not asking you to rank Markus Näslund or Daniel Sedin... it's Mats Näslund and Henrik Sedin.

Think there's anything behind why Sundin was pretty much always captain of his Swedish national team, while Forsberg was "only" an alternate on the same squads? There's obviously at least one area (even if narrowly and specifically described as "leadership") where Sundin distinguishes himself from Forsberg. I have a hard time ranking Forsberg clearly above Sundin unless I make a really, really big deal about just one single season: '02/03 (well, his play during his shortened '03/04 was also on par).

But Hasek was also considered a significantly better player than Roy when they were both healthy and playing, so what do I know? In order to remain consistent, I suppose I should technically have Forsberg a notch above Sundin instead of the roughly equal level I alluded to with my last post.

The inernational level, like mentioned above. With team Sweden, Sundin was their best player, including times when Forsberg was on board. Sundin was usually dominating and a clutch player at the international level.

I don't personally rank Sundin above Forsberg, but I can understand why some do consider him as equally good.

Games-wise, isn't that only the equivalent of Sundin having one full playoff Cup run better than Forsberg?

I'm assuming we're talking about best-on-best international tourneys here.

#1 is Forsberg for sure. A shorter career than Sundin and was constantly fighting injuries, but he peaked too high and was too important in the postseason to not be #1 here.

#2 is Sundin rather comfortably

#3 is Henrik. Lots left in the tank if the NHL ever exists again, but he already has a Hart/Art Ross trophy with some other great seasons.

Loob and Naslund I think you can basically flip a coin with to decide them.
