IIRC he was in the running for Leafs worst player award in recent history on their board.

i think they could use another veteran scoring forward. they seem to have trouble scoring goals lately. which is not surprising with the talent they lost.

#BSens coach Richardson on Stone, Hoffman: Both out extended period of time. Not out for season. Both injuries worse than 1st thought #Sens
Quote:
Coach Luke Richardson confirmed at practice on Tuesday that forwards Mike Hoffman and Mark Stone are not close to returning to practice and there is no timetable in place for either player.
The Ottawa Citizen reported last week that Hoffman suffered a broken collarbone and Stone broke a finger during the team’s 3-2 victory over Hershey before the All-Star break. Richardson would only call them “upper-body” injuries.
“They are going to be out extended periods of time,” Richardson said. “Hopefully we can get them back on the ice soon so they can start skating, but I got no indication from trainers or doctors on when that will be. Unfortunately they are a little more serious than we thought they were before the break. They will have to spend a little bit of time healing.”
“It’s no rush because we do have bodies here. Ottawa has utlized us this year and that’s good because that’s why we are here. Unfortunately for Mike and Mark it came at a rough time because they had a chance to get called up too. They’re real good players and have been real good for us all year long.”

Yeah, because the "fan boys" in Ottawa said that they'd rather Lee than Kopitar.
Get real. The "fan boys" said that Lee is a servicable bottom pairing defenceman, not a star.

There was a time on this board when people were saying they would rather Lee than Kopitar and Staal.
You don't need to go back very far to find people saying Lee was going to be "special", "like a young Bouwmeester", and a "future #1 defenseman".

Can you guys recommend a twitter account that keeps up to date on B Sens stats and stuff, but doesn't live tweet games?
I was following one that actually tweeted every time there was a penalty, and it was god awful

If Borwicky comes back, along w/Lebda addition, we are back to a pretty decent D
Edit:
Bruce Garrioch @SunGarrioch
"The most consistent player has been Benoit," says MacLean of the three blueliners from Binghamton. #Sens
AJ Jakubec @AJonSports
Paul MacLean doesn't expect the Sens to carry 8 D. Says the young guys need to play. Decision will be made shortly. #Sens
