Do this coach, you'll keep winning,

Prince-Grant-Silfverberg
Cowick-Zibanejad-Petersson
Hoffman-DaCosta-Stone
Dziurzynski-Pageau-Jessiman

This right here is exactly why no one is putting up big point totals, as spread out an offense as I've ever seen.

I am more concerned about winning than seeing a bsens in the top 20 for points

Oh, really?

When I watch the games, I want Bingo to win, but if it's Jessiman, Benoit, Eckford and Cannone who do the heavy lifting and our top prospects don't do well, that's more concerning for me than if there were to be a loss and Silfver, Prince, Mika and Jean-Gabriel Pageau stood out.

Yeah i was going for balance. But also making sure each line had some size to give confidence to the smaller guys as well as scoring potential.
It is spread out but that's because the team is so deep. It's not like any of those lines look compromised. Do they?

Completely agree. We're hoping every one of those guys pan out as a top 6 NHLers, which they obviously wont, but thats what their potential is. If they are barely producing (which is sort of the case) then its more concerning than the team as a whole losing.

I guess the double edged knife here is that Lehner is playing outstanding, so I cant be disappointed with the B-Sens season so far. But no matter which way you slice it, Zibby and the crew are not living up to expectations statistically thus far, and its slightly concerning.

Will most of them turn it on at some point? I believe so, but only time will tell I guess.

Silfv, Zibby won't be playing with AHLers when they called up. I want to see them get used to playing on a NA rink and the more aggressive style.

When we pair them with Spezza or Turris, the points will come.

Right now I'm kinda more worried about Hoffman than anyone else...and DaCosta too actually. It's to be expected that guys like Zibby, Silf, JGP...etc are gonna struggle a bit in their first pro seasons. But both Hoffman and DaCosta seem to be taking steps back this year compared to last season when they had no trouble putting up points.

Maybe that's because Hamilton and Toronto are in Canada?

PS: all bsens games are streamed on ustream

Grant has looked awesome, so hasn't Cowick..Luke really knows how to instill some confidence in some players and it shows by playing them in all situations..

Cowick, Jessiman and Gabriel were the starters and resulted in a goal 73 seconds in..

The American Hockey League and Sportsnet announced today the addition of two AHL games to Sportsnet’s broadcast schedule, as the network continues to be Canada’s Saturday night live hockey destination.

On Dec. 1, it’s a North Division battle as the Rochester Americans (top affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres) take on the Toronto Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs) at Ricoh Coliseum. The Hockey Central team of Daren Millard, Brad May and John Shannon will provide pre-game and intermission analysis while Joe Bowen and Greg Millen return to the broadcast booth to provide play-by-play and analysis, respectively, and Paul Hendrick and Jim Ralph host from rinkside. The game will air on Sportsnet ONE at 7 ET/4 PT.

On Dec. 8, it’s round two as the Marlies host the Americans again in Toronto. Hockey Central host Jeff Marek will be joined by analysts Nick Kypreos and Doug MacLean for pre-game and intermission analysis while Joe Bowen and Greg Millen provide play-by-play and analysis, respectively, and Paul Hendrick and Jim Ralph host from rinkside. Coverage on Sportsnet ONE begins at 7 ET/4 PT.

No negativity intended, but it's interesting how Bingo keeps putting up W's despite getting minimal production from the forward corp. 3 out of the 4 top goal scorers on the team are defensemen.

Eckford - 5 goals
Grant - 5 goals
Benoit - 4 goals
Wiercioch - 4 goals

I guess a lot can be said for goaltending though. With the way Lehner has been playing, I can't wait to see what happens when they put it all together!

Also, I wasn't able to catch the game tonight. Can anyone tell me Bingo's line combos? Thanks!

Yeah its unbelievable, I've been checking every week in hopes they would broadcast just one game, but its TO or Hamilton more often than not, Bingo feeling the wrath of TO bias I guess.

I thought that too, but then they broadcasted a Oklahoma game a week or two ago, so there willing to travel, just not for anything Ottawa/Bingo it seems, I wouldn't expect a Bingo game broadcast till March 2nd when they face the Marlies in TO.

I just sent out another complaint to Sportsnet, perhaps if more people mailed in they might actually listen.

The goal scoring from the defense is kinda related to how Bingo has been playing in the offensive zone though.

I don't know if it's system related, or if it's just a last ditch desperation move because the forwards can't get anything working down low, but the forwards seem to try to work out a play down low, don't find anything and just fling it back to the point to an (semi)uncovered defenseman so shoots it towards the net.

Hard to fault it when it keeps working though.

Whatever Hoffman's doing in the AHL is completely irrelevant if he comes in and is one of the best 6 options for checking duty in the NHL. He's gotta downright putrid and careless to lose his opportunity to get a real tryout with the Sens.

Whether you believe it or not, how players play in the NHL is often times not connected to how they play in the NHL. Once they've gotta to the point where the team considers them to be a true NHL prospects and on the cusp...all they really care about is what they do on NHL ice. Obviously that's assuming their drive and attitude or whatever haven't deteriorated.

Maybe wrong but I see Grant on the wing in Ottawa. He'll have to do pretty well to take the job from JOB. Won't get an idea until we see Grant play with NHLers.
