Agreed. It's the playoffs they should be able to get up for that!

agreed. if you dont have time to play playoff games, in a week no less, you do not have time to be in the league. i don't think that's being harsh either

Does this mean the real Canucks shouldn't be in the league since they don't wake up for playoff games (last playoffs)?

CCF and I have been having difficulty find common times to play. He wasn't around on Thursday and Friday and I was busy Saturday and Sunday. Now its work week again for me so I can only play a game or two per night. How much longer do we have to complete our series?

not 100% sure. rc had initially said one week, so wednesday evening. But there were some complaints saying that was too long, but i don't think anything official was said differently than wednesday night.

just get going, I'll decide how soon we're advancing by how quick the series is moving along.

And regarding the Oilers, If neither of them show up for at least a game by wednesday, I'm kicking both of them for the remainder of the playoffs and letting the CPU take care of the playoffs. Then whoever is playing Edmonton will just play against the CPU (as much as that sucks, that's last resort).

Well if you want to kick for now i'll play the CPU anytime. I strongly doubt I will hear from either of them by tomorrow night.

Kicked both from the league for the time being. Play against the CPU for the series and win.

I'll give up the Hawks and take over another team if that's an option to get things moving.

I don't want that to be an option right now, but myself and the co-commissoners will take it into consideration.

NEWS BREAK!

Kings Complain of Officiating Amidst Ridiculous Game 5 Antics
- Los Angelas

The normally mild mannered LA Kings organization is up in arms about the perceived officiating bias of the league in their current series against a artificially controlled Edmonton Oilers squad.

The even keel Kings were the least penalized team in the HF Boards NHL Regular season and kept hitting to a minimum through 4 games of their best of 7 series against the upstart Edmonton Oilers.

Despite the Kings domination on ice and controlling the play the Kings have been penalized 15 times over 5 games, including three separate 5 on 3 advantages for the Oilers and two 5 minute major penalties, both very questionable interference and roughing calls. The last of which was on Derek Morris in game 5 of the series on a play where superstar Anze Kopitar was drilled into the boards, from behind and away from the play by Oiler youngster Taylor Hall who was challenged by Morris but refused to fight... Morris received a major that made it a 5 on 3...
Later with the Kings up 5-4 and on a powerplay for the first time since game 1 Drew Doughty was also drilled from behind into the boards by center Sean Horcoff causing a break away for Horcoff and the tie goal which lead to the eventual Oiler win in overtime.

When reached for comment Kings coach Darryl Sutter commented:
"Duhhh... drrrr herrp deerrrp"

Anze Kopitar will miss the rest of the series as a result of the Hall cheap shot...

HF Canucks League Commissoner Royal Canuck spoke to press today about the officiating and kept it brief, "It's nothing biased, and not my problem. These officials are the best in the world and I trust them to call a fair game."

LA Kings are satisfied that corrections were made as Oilers with 3 penalties in game 6, 0 for the Kings.

4-2 kings win series.

Impressive performances:
-Drew Doughty, 4 goals, 3 assists, 2 GWGs
-Simon Gagne, 4 goals, 4 assists
-Mike Richards, 2 goals, 4 assists

Kings look forward to the Wings in round 2.

(BTW Canucks v Flames in the other western series is awesome...)
