Thank god. I'm tired of Pato withering away with injuries every other game and tired of Robinho's one man show once every 20 games. These two are next to useless most fixtures either by not playing or not caring.

But, we'll likely sell them and buy no one

I hope that's not true, Atletico have no chance of finishing top four if Falcao and Arda leave, although he would be a good pick up for Arsenal.

My team is last in our domestic league.
Our defence is crap and attackers keep missing. Luckily we got Eidur Gudjohnsen otherwise things would look even worse.
The coach said that there will be incoming transfers on the 3rd of january.
I'm looking forward to see who's coming to help this ship stay afloat.

So Valencia based newspaper Superdeportes said that Valencia and Feghouli have reached an agreement on a contract extension, but it was just denied by his agent.

They're the only one who can afford the transfer fee. But I was referring to when his current one runs out. Besides, let's be reality, can anyone see Zlatan and CR7 coexisting in the same team?

Apparently some unnamed Russian team offered Barça £205 million for Messi which they were contractually obligated to accept, but Messi turned them down. They offered crazy wages, too.

Hasn't Falcao now said that he'l stay in Atletico until the end of the season?

Oh I hadn't seen that, hate seeing all these good players leave Spain. If Valencia finish mid table what are the chances they sell Banega or Soldado?

Wouldn't be too surprising, really. All players in PD are obligated to have such buy-out figures in their contracts, but they obviously only become meaningful if the player involved wants to get out of his contract. Messi obviously has no reason whatsoever to move to some random Russian team for a few more millions a year he will never get to spend in his life.

It will probably take a transfer fee in the 70-100m range and PSG would seem to be more likely to put that out than United. IMO anyway.

They've been plenty of speculation and PSG president has said been asked about it. Ronaldo is a known PSG target and accoring to rumors (note : rumors), Ronaldo is interested.
Mourinho is another target for PSG and Ibra's relationship with him is actually a plus this time.

Basically, PSG is interested in every top 5 player. Messi is not moving, Ibra is already here, and Ronaldo might move. If he moves, you can expect PSG to make an offer he will have a hard time refusing.

Since I was asked about him, Isimat Mirin is a likely PSG target. They would like to sign him and then loan him out to Valenciennes for the rest of the season. 5M€ would be the minimum fee.

In other PSG news, they're still actively looking for a LB to replace an average Maxwell, and although they've been negociating with Ashley Cole, they have inquired about Baines too.

Although Ronaldo to PSG rumours have been floating around since "I'm sad" comments I just don't see Ronaldo ending up there, ever. IMO, Ronaldo would only move back to Man U. Ronaldo's ego would only allow him to play for the most recognized clubs ie. Mardrid, Man U. Ligue 1 might be "too small" for Cristiano.

Milan could bring in Ricardo Carvalho (l'equipe)

Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal are preparing bids for David Villa (Daily Mirror)

Napoli turned down a 55 million euros bid for Cavani......anyone know from who?

My guess would be Chelsea or City but keep in mind Napoli's president isn't exactly.... truthful.

Oh I agree Ligue 1 status would obviously be a drawback. Obviously. Without that drawback, I don't think anyone could turn PSG down (great money, great city, etc...).
But I do think Ronaldo is interested. He'd get great money and try to turn his team into a CL contender.

That said, I'm not sur he'd choose PSG over City for instance, and I hope he doesn't come. Ligue 1 needs his talent, but certainly not his antics and example for the young footballers.

Holtby leaving Schalke on a free at end of the season.

Not really sure on this one, bad move for him imo, guy has been solid for Schalke, but still inexperienced, don't think a move to Arsenal/Liverpool at this time is a big enough step up to justify leaving Schalke, even if Schalke have been struggling a bit lately.

Fair enough, but do you think the PSG offer would be better than what he has already refused for an extension at Madrid? I mean according to media Ronaldo has refused the offer not because of financial reasons but because he's simply unhappy, but I just don't see him going to PSG because of what has already been discussed here. I'm sure some Russian club's president can state he's after Ronaldo and offer a fortune but I still wouldn't call it a "good chance". I think he goes back to England.

I'm not sure ManU has enough money for Ronaldo.
If anything, only few teams do : PSG, City and Chelsea (outside russian teams).
Would he go to City and Chelsea? Maybe, but I'm really not sure.

PSG has already been more competitive than City in the CL and both teams are United rivals.

I think you highly underrated PSG's appeal if you compared it with russian teams.
They're building a dream team in a deam city.
