Meanwhile, Mancini has urged City officials to do everything they can to land the Brazilian. Leonardo has apparently met with the Santos manager as well to discuss a summer move for Neymar. You can also bet that Real Madrid will be heavily involved.

-On another note, Real Madrid has made another offer for Halilovic.
They apparently offered 8 million.

Halilovic also recently declined the call up by BiH's U-21 team. Still a big question mark as to what NT he'll play for.

He will most likely play for Croatia, unless he leaves Dinamo in the next few years. The longer he stays at Dinamo the less chances he plays for BiH. Dinamo practically own Croatian football, I fear Mamic will blackball him if he doesn't play for Croatia, and Stimac has already shown he is not afraid to cap an 18 year old in a qualifier (Halilovic is only 16, so even more extreme).

I think its all nonsense over Halilovic, if he wants to play for BiH let him. No need to put all this pressure on a 16 year old who has only played 4-5 senior games for Dinamo

And just on a side note, thats the problem with Dinamo in the Champions League. Unlike teams like APOEL, Cluj, BATE, Nordsjaelland who actually try to get results, Dinamo's main aim in the Champions League is the field as many teenagers as possible to increase their value, and they wonder why nobody comes to their games

"Le digo a Mou que te considere, y de paso elevamos la categoría del vestuario"
This should have been a direct message but put it for everyone

There are quite a few young players his equal, but I don't think anyone plays the same style as him if that's what you mean.

He also just extended his contract there.

If Dortmund step up financially, I could see him stay there for a long while. Its not as if Dormund were in a weak championship, or even a weak team in a average championship. They are one of the best teams in one of the best leagues. Dortmund got some great players to challange for the Bundesliga title year in and year out in Hummels, Reus, Lewandowski and whatnot. They offer everything a player asks for; CL Football, High Level Football, a team that challenges for the title, a great stadium and great fans. The only downside would be them bringing in big names, as they seem to have a similar financial structure as Arsenal do, which is based on supposing that FPP will get implemented

Yes he will get opportunity's/offers abroad, but who knows if he will take them. If his Girlfriend strongly suggests that he moves though, I don't know how he can say no to that

Gotze actually already signed for Arsenal in the past.. Wenger was so happy

If the board would let Wenger buy any player he wants for give or take a couple of mills, lets say £30M, it would be Gotze. Seems clear that Wenger loves Gotze, but just doesn't have the money

The thing is, I think that they are at a stage that they don't just develop players, but they also keep their hands on them. They are by no means a "Feeder Club" even if they sold Kagawa last window. They are at a stage where they can grow and build their team around those players. German players are normally very loyal, so this is on paper a perfect scenario for Dortmund. Produce great talent and keep them in your ranks.

I reckon if he decides to leave, it will mostlikely because he has accomplished everything he had to accomplish in the Bundesliga and is looking for a new challange.

I'd be worried of Halilovic getting targeted with hard challenges at practice if he chooses BiH over Croatia while still with Dinamo.

Looks like Miralem Pjanic will be leaving Roma in the winter. Tottenham had reportedly offered 12 million for him in the summer with Pjanic turning them down. Seems like he's burned his bridge with Roma's coach and vice versa. Not capped in a European competition, so could be a pretty could pick-up. His form for the NT has been unbelievable of late. City/Arsenal apparently interested.

Not really because of the WC. Mainly in line with what LH said, Dortmund just won't sell him for virtually any kind of money before they are forced to, and I don't see him wanting out unless Dortmund proves to not be consistently able to compete in the CL. The earliest I could see such a revelation coming to him would be 2014.

^ LOL, I wonder if that is a plan by Santos to get the most money out of him?!

Don't know who the better striker is, but Neymar definitely as a sick curve.

If I was making a team I prefer Gotze overall.

Liverpool are plotting to end their striker crisis by signing Dutch hot-shot Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Schalke when the January transfer window opens, according to ESPN sources.

Anfield chiefs believe they could secure the services of 29-year-old striker in a cut-price £6 million, with manager Brendan Rodgers desperate to bolster his striking options after his side missed a host of chances once again in their 1-1 draw against Newcastle on Sunday.

Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Arsenal contract rebel Theo Walcott, but ESPN sources suggest the inflated wage demands of the England attacking starlet may scupper any proposed move to Anfield.

Neymar is a way better finisher though. As of now, it's a problem with Gotze.

But don't you think that could because of positioning? Gotze is a CAM and definitely could finish shots, but he is more important for passing than striking, while Neymar's main job is to put in goals as CF and forward?

Also sportsbulletin says that Yoann Gourcuf could be one of Wenger's targets this winter. Evilo, how good has he been so far?

I wouldn't say it's a problem, Goetze has scored plenty of fine goals. It's certainly not a strength like it is for Neymar, Reus, Ronaldo, etc, but it's also not something that holds him back like Ozil's shot hasn't really held him back, it's just not his game, but it's fine for when he needs it....That said Reus' amazing shot is part of what makes me like him more than Gotze, or Neymar for that matter.
