Pelss with a hell of a shift and Tyrvainen with a blast, 3-1 Barons, goalie change, Campbell in.

Heck of a shot there. I like Tyrvainen's game. I really hope he's got the patience to stick it out in the A for a few more years. If he does he'll earn a shot as a feisty 3rd line checker.

Jack Campbell was he not highly touted for an American goalie?

I think he was the goalie of the gold medal winning WJC team a few years ago.

How is Ringwald even on this team? Is there really nobody better?

Wow Ringwald really is a vortex of suck.
Ill-advised pass up the boards that turns into a Stars rush.
Schultz plays it perfect, tipping the puck behind the net, and towards Ringwald. HE just stares as the Stars re-gain possession and score.
3-2 Barons

Plante is a healthy scratch. I would prefer to see him. The Ringwald - Teubert pairing seems to be an obvious weakness.

Barons getting badly outplayed since the goaltending switch. Pitlick absolutely plastered Petersen along the boards earlier in the period and also rang a shot off the post, better effort from him tonight. Still waiting for Magnus to get his ass in gear.

I just can't Magnus playing like that. He is a good talker, but he never puts it into action. Way too soft for my liking. Never has that killer instinct.

Schultz shot ends up in the net again. This kid is insane.
Eberle tip?
Guess not. Will they be changing the assists? Paajarvi set up that shot, didn't he?

Now THAT was no fluke. Great, accurate shot by Schultz and Hartikainen setting up the perfect screen, he has been really good this season, very happy with his play.

Vande Velde draws a high sticking call. IMO this has been Davidson's best game of the season to date, pulling himself out of the Plante and Ringwald like stink that he's had of late.
