Did Biega take the NASA offer for the one way trip to Mars or something?

I've heard nothing about him.

Beiga has a concussion, 3rd shift in his first game.

Brendon Nash hurt in his first game.

Do you mean Woods? Jeez...is this franchise built over an Indian burial ground or what?

With Charlotte dealing with a handful of injuries to its own blue line, Murphy (5-foot-11, 176 pounds) may be able to buck the trend of being cautious with players making the quick jump to the professional level. Brendon Nash, hurt in his first game with the team, is day-to-day, while Danny Biega and Michal Jordan are both out for an indefinite amount of time. Marc-Andre Gragnani, the best point-producer of the group prior to Murphy’s arrival, is out for the season.

Three weeks ago, i asked Branecky if there was any word on Biega, and he replied with:

Quote:
Paul Branecky ‏@PaulBranecky 25 Mar
@Staal_Tactics_ Out indefinitely is official word. Getting back on ice will be first step in process. Until that happens, won't be imminent
The fact that we STILL haven't heard a thing about it since then does not bode well. Kid must have gotten absolutely rocked.

I was there, me, everyone there, and the players on the ice was in shock.

He went behind the net with his down to get the puck, got hit by a much larger skater square to the head shoulder to head.

He flew backwards, and got up and was wondering around drunk. He couldn't skate forward or backwards.

Shaya seems very impressed with Murphy's play thus far tonight.

If I'm not reading this box score wrong (which is always possible), Charlotte fell behind 3-0 on the road with 5:23 left in the third period ... AND WON???

Good for the Checkers. I thought Daniels was the problem.

BTW, that is NOT a shot at anyone.

Does he have plans that would prevent him from making a quick trip to Raleigh tonight?

Why would we want the Canes to win any more games this season?

In former Checker news, the Lightning have signed Mathieu Roy to a 1-way deal for the rest of this season.

I know its not gonna happen anytime soon, but if the Hurricanes moved to Charlotte would you root for another team? I really wanted to ask this to a Canes fan.

Didnt want to make a new thread so I posted here,

Probably not. It would suck, though.

In other news, got my first job offer today. Hoping for a better one in the next week or so. Nice to have something in my back pocket, though.

I would root for them no matter where they moved. After living in Boone for 4 years, driving to Charlotte for a few games a season doesn't seem like a big issue. I'm actually thinking about doing it for one of the Checkers playoff games.

I would be happy as hell, I live 30 mins from Charlotte and 3 hours from Raleigh.
