Starting to blow pretty good out here. I wan in Montauk baording up the house and stopped to check out the surf. White water right up to the dunes before this one even hit. Gonna be a rough one!

Looking more and more like NYC will dodge the bullet. Looks like we caught a break.

Going to make landfall much further south...between DC and southern NJ. It's still a large storm, so we'll definitely get strong winds and rain, with a large amount of flooding in the low lying areas. But it could have been catastrophic had it tracked further north.

Would deaf people not be able to understand interpreters if they didn't make those funny faces?

And please don't give me an infraction, because that's a serious question and I'm not making fun of deaf people.

Fuuuuuuuuuuu.

Tree just fell down in my parents back yard and probably took out their expensive fence and did damage to the house. Sucks.

So, the ****ing ******* neighbor who's tree just fell on my parents' house had this happen once before. The ******* re-planted the tree instead of having it removed (no idea how the town even let him). So it fell once again and this time on my parents' house.

Scum bag cheap ****ing neighbors. So thankful no one in the house was hurt. I'm sure it scared them ****less, though. The dogs, too.
