Looking to move up in the draft. I have a low 20's 1st and 3 2nd round picks (Buf, Mtl, NJ)

Also listening to offers for Ryan Miller (would have to resign him around 6 mil)

Luongo is available, big 89OVR goalie who rarely gets beaten up high, and has excellent lateral mobility.

Have a couple of deals to choose from for Plekanec, none blow me away but he'll likely be moved for a right-handed skill guy this offseason.

Might consider moving Eller for a skilled young righty instead, send me your offers

Depending on how the draft goes Roy might be available but i'd say he is the only one on my team who i'd be willing to trade atm.

Considering making a new rule that players cannot be flipped anymore. Something like 2 full seasons until you can trade a player you've recently acquired.

Like the general idea, but I wonder if there should be an exception for pending UFAs?

In other words, say you acquire a guy on year with 2 years left on his contract, play a season and a half, and find yourself out of the playoff hunt at the trade deadline in the second season. Shouldn't you be able to deal the guy at that point to a contender?

No one deals their stars becoming UFA's at deadline really I believe

Well, I suppose they could if they were skeptical about their ability to sign them? Also, the rule would apply to all players, right? Not just stars?

I'm not saying it will happen. Just asking whether it should be an option.
