Big game for the Bears. Perhaps not so much because of their opponent, but for the ability to go 7-1 given their upcoming schedule. If we win today, we should almost be a lock for a playoff spot (assuming no QB injuries), with at least 4 winnable games down the stretch.

Cutler needs to remove his head from his a.. if they hope to win. Im expecting another close game but who knows. All depends on Cutler if he has another crappy performance. Holding onto the ball too long exposes Webb. Webb isnt all that great either. Cutler/Webb were exposed last week by Cutler holding the ball too long, not being able to read the d and finding his receivers.

Gotcha... looking into it, they're 1-1 this year against the NFC... beat the Lions, lost to the Viqueens, 30-7.

Last year they were 2-2 against the NFC... so looks like you hear some wrong info.

Not to mention the NFL changes to much from year to year, it's not even worth going back to 2010... Not sure why, but I am fully expecting us to beat the tar out of the Titans today.

So pissed I'm not there...

We are their 3rd NFC game this year, after the two above I mentioned that they split... and here is a link to their game log from last year.

They're a retarded version of the old Oilers uniforms, that were actually pretty cool.

- When Cutler has gotten time he has thrived
- No WR's were open on the sacks

The Titans struggled to get pressure, and only have 11 sacks as a team all year. I'm expecting a huge game from Cutler today, 300+ yards easily unless they blow them out early and tell him to just hand it off and eat up clock.

Jaguars D struggled going into game with Bears but the Bears OL still yielded 3 sacks and struggled in 1st half. Bears offense finally broke out in 2nd half

I have no faith that this OL can block long enough for Cutler and Bears offense to have a big game at this point. Until the OL starts to improve as a unit the Bears offense will continue to struggle

You can throw the ball away though which is something he has been reluctant to do this year. He takes a lot of sacks he should not.

Can't remember if it was PFF or not, but some site did a nice in-depth breakdown of this year's pass protection and it was not pretty.

2 of the sacks of Cutler in which he didn't get rid of ball soon enough he was in the pocket and thus cant just throw ball away (It would be intentional grounding)

I am referring to the season as a whole.

One more thing; other teams seem to utilize outlets and flat passes better than the Bears. With how good of a receiver Forte is, and even Bush, there should be no excuse why the Bears can't do better getting both some catches in the flats more often. It would probably reduce the amount of pressure Cutler is under as well.

I do agree that Tice needs to get Bush/Forte more into passing game

I do miss how Martz used Forte (Dont miss the 7 step drops , etc of course)

Bears pass game has taken step backwards since loss of Jeffrey. Bennett is ideal #3 but doesn't get seperation enough and Hester is not a good WR

Forte averaging 3 catches a game... should be closer to 5.

When I saw the breakdown analysis of the game, Cutler on more than one of his sacks had an open receiver, just wasnt Marshall who hes keying on too much. Cutler is just fixated on Marshall and if he doesnt get open, then Cutler doesnt check down any of the other receiver options.
